"We’ve had the best. Let’s hear the worst band you seen live and why" Ósais 98 Medowlands NJ They were shite, Liam spent more time trying to rip the piss out of the American crowd and playing hard man to the few Brits in attendance than singing songs, We were back in our local in NYC before the gig finished I'd say, Never liked them after, as a result.

"Rem supporting u2 at the Milton Keynes midsummer nights bowl...in the rain and mud...micheal stipe wanted to tell the crowd all kinds of lovely messages... The crowd wanted him to shut up and play... They were bottled off stage. The cure Wycombe town hall killing an Arab vintage... In front of about 20 people... The Enid at fryars Aylesbury... Sitting down in circles and holding hands and sharing the love didn't go down too well... My hero Paul Weller at the roundhouse Camden... He was being a right cxxt. " Serves you right for seeing U2. Bono is just the worst

"Razorlight at Hyde park calling in 2006 I think. Johnny just strutted around the stage looking like he was in love with himself and singing badly off key " Saw them at Leeds fest years back, not my thing, what I expected, dull

"Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I have never been so disappointed at a gig. Didn't look interested and Anthony Keidis flounced off stage during the encore leaving the rest of the band to do an impromptu jam to wrap things up. Also Limp Bizkit. Went to see them purely for nostalgia and realised it was a bad idea. " Last time I saw limp biz kit it was all about the nostalgia. Wez is a dude though. Many times been told I look like him...I’ll take that

"Believe it or not.... Robbie Williams at Middlesbrough Town Hall. He had a very brief "limbo" mode before he went global as a solo. Town Hall booked him, sold it out and he was boring as fuck, very little interaction and seemed lost without take that. Cue 12 months later and he's the biggest thing in mainstream music for a decade. " Seen him at Slane and he was unreal. 95000 people singing back to him.

"A punk band called Guns on the Roof, that came highly recommended but were shocking" I’ll give them a miss. A band called Throw Rag supported Mad Caddies and they were ace!
