I spend wayyy too much time on my phone

It’s not all bad - I’ve had some great laughs on here ... even the blurt-out-loud-and make others in the room jump out of their skin kind of laughs

But I know I need to get off and get on with other things ...

I’ve got 17% battery left on my phone (don’t ask where the other 83% went)

I’m giving myself till it’s gone to get off here

... how do you know when to get off?

Having started university again and a new job alongside it I am finding I can not longer procrastinate. Have to actively work on it. Perhaps working in intervals, 50mins work 10mins phone. Setting reminders. Depends how badly it’s affecting you I guess. For some people it really is an addiction imo, however not saying that’s the case with you.

Don’t get off. Plug it in and then plug in.

Do you have an iPhone? The screen time feature can be used to monitor and send you reminders.

For me just checking it once last year gave me a real wake up call.

Although there’s not a whole lot else to be doing now, but I feel scrolling on the phone is probably one of the the least productive things. (Says whilst on said phone )

There’s other stuff I probably should/could be doing yes ... in normal circumstances I would be (that’s possibly a fib)

But I’m still being kind of productive ... sort of anyway ... I’m usually a bit quiet but playing around on here has made me a little more forward so that can’t be all bad? Chatting to people - even the random silly games - it’s good for us right?

Omg though yes ... when I see those phone hours in black and white I do think fuuuuck woman get off fab xx

Take the shortcuts off your home screen. When I did, because I didn't have them staring at me, I just didn't check them so often.

I used to check the time or answer a text then...Facebook, Reddit, whatever....

Just because they were there.

Saying that, getting rid of Facebook was the best choice I've made in a while...

Beats your usual 1% muahahah!! *takes a sneaky peak and finds after a day at work...which should mean that my battery is somewhat high...actually looks at phone and sees 18%...oopsie!!

Thought I’d have a quick check see if any more comments on my fiiiiiiirst ever forum post ... looked at my battery life and it says 69% ... I laughed ... yes I’m childish and small things like that make me snigger

- I have 21 minutes before work - surely the 69 will last that long ?
