No, that's on Friday. They start before the opening ceremony. It's the Olympics - they have their own rules for everything.

I think we all have to giggle at that , that and the fact the cable car carrying people across the Thames to the games broke down today

Apparently there where rumours that North Korea had launched a full on nuclear attack on Glasgow but officials have denied that and confirmed Glasgow has always look that way
