are you competitive and want to win, or are you a lady/gent and take pity and let your opponent win?

Im competitive and despite trying my hardest i lost 5-1

Didn't loose badly on all the games though

i havnt played pool for years.

but no point playing anything unless you want to win.

second place means you didnt try hard enough and failed.

i only play to win. at anything. not that i win at everything but i always try.

no pity no surrender......

people have to lose once in a while.

i play my daughter at squash and frankly although i am 26 years older she has yet to beat me. it only makes her more determined and the harder she fights the harder i fight back.

i know she will win one day and it will be down to effort and a desire to win which i have taught her.

Some take part and end up losing out to someone else all the time. If I hadn't a chance I would try another sport. Snooker is a better game after all.
