Totally get this, I loved digging trenches for footings, picking the sides first then taking out the middle, trimming it up so it’s perfect, you’re knackered at the end of the day but it’s a good tired and a cup of tea never tastes so good after a days hard graft.

I’ve done loads of tube tunnels (working for crossrail helped) and I climbed the shard when it was being built but there’s loads I want to get into still. Spillers millennium mills is around the corner from me but I’ve not managed it yet.
