It is a constant battle and i am on the losing side. Too much stuff. Everything should have its own place but it never stays there. I end up getting so fed up with it all that i often end up flying around the house like a Tasmanian Devil clearing everything up. However, in not too shorter time it is back to square one.......waaaaaaaaa !

I am a tidy and organised person.

During this Winter lockdown I have done a lot of decluttering of my kitchen drawers mainly as that was the areas I had more things than I needed or used.

I have popped the items into storage boxes & they are in my garage for the time being, until a point in time ( hopefully this Spring) where the local outdoor car boot sale starts up again.

I then plan on having a stall there for a few weeks to get rid of some things & make a bit of cash in the process!

I think we can spread the stuff we have out, to stop the daily event of things falling out cupboards and knowing what we have got. I like things put away than cluttering up the work surfaces. I am hoping that this will also cure 'clutter blindness' which everyone but me suffers from. I can only hope.

I struggle to relax in cluttered spaces so I have OCD tendencies when it comes to “a place for everything and everything in its place”

However......

I have a guilty secret, one that nags at me in the nights I cannot sleep, one that whispers to me when I am settled with a cup of tea, I try to ignore it, but it never goes away..... “the loft..... the loft.....the loft.....”
