Do you use them? I keep meaning to but always forget! Sometimes people have particular views/opinions that I would like to remember in case we ever messaged. I was just reading a bit of a controversial thread and made a few notes. First time I’ve done it!

What sort of thing do you make notes of? Serious things or “swallows” “takes it up the arse” type notes

Sad times but i use private notes for negative things, why ive blocked, ppl who send repeat random friend requests, then i’ll forget and just dont use the feature.

I should try to use it for nice things but then theres hotlist or pic fabbing, winking etc.

I don’t even know where it is, I think it’s more for women, cause let’s face it more blokes are knobheads than women, the few female knobheads stand out so easier to remember them.

I found that when you reported a profile it remained but you couldn't see it anymore, there was an invisible block between you. Now, my thinking is this. If I'm at a party or something in the future and I ask someone their profile name, I won't be able to find them if they're auto blocked by reporting . I also won't know if I blocked them, or if they autoblocked. Then I may question maybe I'm spelling it wrong and that's why I can't find them but don't wanna look a dick by asking. So now I've taken to private notes so I'm more in control, and if that situation did arise, I now have it on notes instead and can outright say "ah, you're one of the cunts that was trying to get meets during a killer pandemic, byeeeeeeee"

I'll occasionally use them for nice things, like a reminder of someone I've met at a social & chatted to & a few important things about them (names/job etc)

But mostly it's note of reasons why I should avoid them either based on the messages they've sent or things they have said on forums that are red flags.

Covidiots has been noted on many profiles, others have just been blocked straight away

I try and remember to note their real name and their situation (ie, married, kids etc etc)

But generally i forget and am too embarrassed to ask their name again when I've forgotten so fluff through the conversation haha

I find it even more confusing when kik/telegram/insta names are different to fab names

Haha yeah. I often start talking to someone on kik then I totally forget their name on here! My memory is so bad I’m embarrassed to ask!

I often get messages on kik saying hey you long time no speak and I honestly do not have the foggiest who they are!!

Yeah, so I stopped reporting status updates and started notes instead. I felt safer that way as silly as it may sound. I'm in control of the information then. Meet messages I'm still reporting though because I'm giving them a verbal assault anyway

Especially with guys I'm not interested in but just chat with them occasionally it saves me asking for another pic and asking the same questions to people..

Just notes like there name, if I'd meet them or not, likes, dislikes, job, married that kind of stuff..

Private notes are a great idea. We use them for positive things and negative things. Mainly for remembering names. We also use them to record if a profile has turn us down and vice versa. X

Because we aren't always together when we read messages we will often use the notes to communicate with each other about profiles of people who message us.

I will sometimes also make a private note on profiles I add to our hotlist reminding myself why I've added them

Some just remind me we chatted before and they were nice.

Quite a few if I see constant bad updates or if they are someone from the forums that are not someone I'd want to meet but not quite to blocking level.

Ye I find notes very handy especially if people change their names.

I use notes for lots of things. If I block them I make a note, and if it was for a particularly disgusting message or forum post I copy it into the note. If I report someone I make a note of why, so when I try to look at that profile again I know why I can’t see it. I use them for positive notes as well, in particular if it’s a man who I think I might want to invite when I eventually have a gangbang. On my couple profile I use them to say why I’m not interested in someone or why they wouldn’t be interested in us, so my FWB can see what I think when he’s browsing.

Yes I use private notes extensively for profile which contact me but I suspect they are either fake, timewaster or fantasist.

Then I save it into my hotlist (because no other place to save it into).

At least I can check the profile if they contact me again in the future.

Same.

Also good if one of us liked them but the other didn't. Make a note so we could remember which they were.

I also use the notes for future fantasies. If they suggest something interesting I can hotlist them to contact nearer the time.

I can enter a calculation into the cell and it adds up how many shags I had that day. It's difficult to keep track otherwise.

You can still click on their profile, for example on your block list, and the notes are visible from the menu.

You don't have to unblock a profile to read the notes you made on it.

As to why, the thought process goes like this: "Oh, that person has a hot profile picture. I'll check their profile... oh, hang on, why have I blocked them? *Checks notes* Ah, they're a barebacking COVID-denying fascist Brexiter. Oh well..."
