Just wandering what sort of distance people are willing to travel for a meet? Me personally i could happily go 100 miles but that would be my limit

It clearly states on my profile that I will not meet anyone more than 30 miles. I know the roads around here as it can an hour just to get from Barnstaple which is only 10 miles away if you are not local. X

I look at as how long in time would you be prepared to drive ?

Never really thought about it in miles but probably it was Cheshire to Carlisle. A couple came out to stay with us in Spain after only chatting to them for 5 mins in a club, thought that was crazy of them at the time but we became bestie friends so maybe don’t limit yourself on the distance as you could be missing out on meeting someone special, if you click through chatting go with it if you can

All depends how much of a connection has been built up first I guess. I've driven 3 and a bit hours each way before but of course she was pretty special and by heck did she keep calling to tease me while I was driving up. She was having a lot of fun, and of course we both did. I guess the answer is it depends.

For instance, I really want to visit Scotland one day, so if I could arrange a meet to coincide, that'd be great.

The longest I’ve drove is from Chester to Leicester to pick a couple up and then drive them to a fetish club (pedestal) in London which I paid their entrance fee just like the petrol and I spent most of the night on all fours as their footrest and a few other tasks before driving them back to Leicester at 2am before my journey back to Chester in which I was so tired I stopped on route to Chester at Mac Donald’s drive thru for a coffee to keep me awake.

On payment at the first window the young girl was quite amused about something then at the second window I attracted quite an audience of staff and a few giggles , only then I remembered the couple had wrote “ cuckold “ on my forehead in black marker pen.

First of all I would just like to say to everyone that has posted that is happy to travel over 2 hours or over 100 miles for a meet you all have my up most respect and you are all better and more committed people than me. I tend to stick to no more than one and a half hours travel in and around London I did once travel two and a half hours from my part of North London to Heathrow where the new Kestrels is via public transport.I am thinking of in the future maybe going to the Sutton house or Eureka which again will be about 2 hours I hope depending on public transport.

Personally, I'd stay local if it was just for a meet. If I was heading to the area then no problems. There's plenty of fish in the swinging sea, So why feel the need to travel all over the country? Might have a friendship, but I'm not getting attached to these people.

As for OP. You stated you wouldn't go over 100 miles. What if someone was 111 miles?

I'd say about an hour or 50 miles tops but again it depends very much on who I'm meeting or whether we are attending a club.

I've driven to Barnsley from oxford and 160 miles for a weekend with a lovely young lady before.

And Torquay to a club visit.

So there's always the exception

Can only speak for myself but there are several reasons I don't want a guy to travel to me.

I like the first meeting to be a no expectations attached social. We are probably not going to be playing the first time, but men seem to expect it if they are travelling to me. I worry that a guy might drive for two hours only for me to discover that there's no chemistry and that's just awkward. Also I've had several men offer to travel to meet me with the expectation that they will be staying at my place, which is not possible.

I mean, in theory, if someone wanted to travel for miles to my local area, get a hotel, and meet me for a drink without any physical stuff being involved at all... I suppose that's up to them and I'd meet them if we seemed to get on well online. But it's certainly not something I would encourage.

Admittedly, the trip was pre-planned but it was great fun to meet up with someone interesting for a long weekend before heading on to Sydney.

That's fair enough. But I guess I just don't think that way, and wouldn't have those expectations or feel that kind of entitlement - especially on a first time meet / social-only. I guess I also just think differently about distances and two hours not being a big deal at all. I know here in the UK it might seem like a big deal... but serioulsy, of all the places in the world we are a tiny island and most societies have to deal with much larger distances on a daily basis. Just my perspective on it. *shrug*

For a new person I wouldn't want either of us to have gone too far, although saying that I have never met anyone that was local and we all travelled bloody miles so, whatever it takes really

Not for any kind of sexual meet but I once drove 150 miles each way to deliver a couple of bottles of wine and some crusty bread and cheese to an old school (girl) friend.

She was down and needed cheering up and we used to discuss our love of wine and cheese via fb messenger regularly amongst other crap going wrong in our lives.

We weren't anything but friend so was without agenda but felt nice doing something out of the blue to cheer her up.

Had circumstances been different the bloke part of me would have been there like a shot but a peck on the cheek and the smile restored was my reward

I wouldn't put a limit on it. I'd be happy enough to travel anywhere in the right circumstances. I travel for work anyway

As I am a single parent with very little access to child care as I have 5 children it is very difficult to leave my local area but if I didnt have those commitments I'd be happy to travel anywhere in the uk on a weekend treat it as a fun road trip
