I’m really interested to know how many folk on here only use this site or other sites? For example, being single I’m also on POF but probably look for a slightly different type on there! I would not imagine any couples use that but are there other sites? And do singles who are on here basically communicate in a different way to POF or tinder?

We met each other on PoF,a couple of years before we joined fab.

We have tried other sites,Irish sites I should add,and found that anyone on these other sites were also on Fab.

As fab doesn't charge a fee for membership,we now only use fab

It's not perfect,but it suits our needs.

Maybe I was slightly clumsy with my wording. I suppose on here it is very unlikely meets will lead to a relationship so your bought process is therefore different....make sense?

How does being on 2 different sites work? I was on pof but gave that up when I joined here...dont think I could look for romance and possibly a serious relationship whilst on a swinging site...

You mean females on here are good enough to fuck but not to date, therefore you do not make the same effort you do on a dating site. Do the ladies you meet on the dating site know you are slumming it on Fab?

Nah that’s completely unfair. For example, there are many females on here with single profiles who are married and many simply have no interest in dating. So naturally the communications is slightly different around that. Let me just say - my ideal scenario would be to meet someone on here for long term. I’m not disrespecting anyone believe me x

I'm on PoF and that is my first port of call for keeping physical needs fed!

My reason for being on here, until recently, was for keeping in touch with people I have met at Eureka. If I were using Fab to get sexy dates, I would be waiting for ever!

More recently, during lockdown, I've started using the forum threads to keep my mind busy and enjoy reading what others think and do.

I can assure you that not all the women on PoF are looking for serious relationships but the fact that they are looking for someone of the opposite sex is usually a good clue as to what their needs are.

In my experience they are also keeping their options open and playing the field more than appears from their profile, or in their correspondence Just like blokes, really.

Their list of interests can give clues as to how likely they are going to be happy with only one man for ever. Look for the term 'men' rather than 'a man'!

I haven't got time for any more sites and the odd one or two I've checked have rung loud warning bells that have put me right off joining. I joined PoF after personal recommendation.

Dating sites don't always involve a great deal of effort.

Most of my hard work is done for me by the hordes of twits who who launch in with dick pics and propositions, as a result getting themselves blocked, thus reducing the competition significantly.

It's worth remembering that swingers and pervs don't have a monopoly on needing and enjoying nookie. Other people have it simmering away in the background and will let it come to the fore with someone they find half reasonable.

Hence a simple meet up for a walk, coffee or both will soon tell you which way the wind is blowing. They look for body language cues and physical signs (like long fingers usually means long cock, as well as being tactile) and often there is no time to be lost.

On the other hand, watch out for the ones who say they like going out for meals, as often that's all they like and they usually prefer to be treated. The prospect of nookie inevitably remains a dangled carrot, with the added advantage that if no intimacy ever takes place, there can't possibly be anything wrong with getting fed by multiple gentlemen.

Unlike here, no profile pic on PoF is a dick or a torso and the key to success is featuring a smiling face and some recreational pictures showing an acceptable body.

Whilst scantily clad body shots are not allowed on their own, you can get away, as for instance I do, with swimwear poses on a kayak in an action shot, which also alludes to a lifestyle of fitness and relaxation.

Fab profiles often tend to smack too much of desperation. For example "Any ladies out there gagging for sex with a lecherous married man?"
