Liking your pics being fabbed?

I love to fab pics that are creative, inventive or just gorgeous, but for some reason some people seem to think it is a ‘bad thing’?

I agree. I don’t have any public pics but I do have a couple of videos and I suppose it is nice to receive likes. I also enjoy liking any nice pics or videos I view and especially some of the more creative ones. I also sometimes message to say nothing more than - I enjoyed with infant your video, thanks.

I don't think it's a bad thing, I think it can often be perceived as 'attention seeking' I'm not saying it is, but that is how it can look.

It's strange being a female (I should add, T is posting this, the male) because you have to look confident, that is sexy. guys want that. but if you look TOO confident, you look arrogant and it puts people off etc..

It's very tough, its a fine line for ladies to walk.

I think it's more the intent and thought process behind your liking.

There are some that accept them with good grace and appreciate the appreciation.

Others that view it as a sign of popularity and power. It does something to their ego that isn't beneficial to who they are as a person.

I mean that I’ve seen comments in the forum, about pics being fabbed, and people living their pics fabbed is not a good thing apparently.

I think it’s a lovely part of the site where we can show our appreciation of people’s creativity, and have our pics fabbed too

I think a lot of people get too invested in how many fabs they have. Every week there's a thread about same faces on hot photos. The way I see it, fabs just show appreciation of a photo for whatever reason which can only be a good thing right?

Many of the people on the hot list are there every day and probably enjoy the attention but I’m fairness many of them are really good pics. I personally enjoy chatting/looking at ones that are not there as you get better conversations if that makes sense

We love fabbing pics that stand out - we don’t fab pics because we fancy that person/couple, we do it on the basis the pics got that x-factor...sensual, sexy, erotic, pure sex...something that’s gets the mind racing.

We love people fabbing our pics and don’t see it as anything other than an appreciation of a pic they enjoy.

I think it’s the beggy types that have created the haters.

Personally it doesn’t bother me, I’ll fab pictures that I like.

I turned my fab pictures off for a really long time just to encourage more messages rather than fabs which worked to an extent.

Then with the forum picture challenge threads I liked showing my appreciation for others and felt it’d be nice to have the appreciation back for mine so I turned them back on.

I fab pics daily of both men and women if I like the photo. No ulterior motive. If people don't want their pics fabbed can turn off that feature and as fur getting to pg 1 on hot pics as a curvy lady I take it as a compliment but also with a pinch of salt. Its nice to be nice

Expanding on that a smidgen, there's also that line between appreciating the appreciation, or NEEDING the attention and posting pics you'd actually be quite ashamed of if they got out into the public realm. That worries me. There are a few that I have genuine concerns about as far as their use of fabs as validation. A quick fix for inner turmoil and instead of working on their "who-ness" they'll slap up another photo coz it's easier than addressing their issues.

I think there is no harm in fabbing pictures or videos you like.Also it can be a way of the person that had their pictures fabbed to notice someone that maybe out is out of their age range and maybe likes something in their profile and may decide to take things further.

I think there are different levels of attention seeking people find palatable; much like in anything in life you're not going to like the behaviour of everyone you encounter are you?

Perhaps the way in which people seek attention for their photos is more grating? People don't think women should be so self confident? Maybe they don't particularly care for the person and it's an easy thing to pick at. Saying jealousy and forgetting how nuanced emotions can be is a bit of a cop out.

My waffling posts probably cause some to eye roll, much like your seeking Fabs might as well.

I will openly say, yes, I like getting fabs, and for me it is attention seeking, but not in an “I need it way”, but because I like it.
