As it is frigging stressful the week or two before a long holiday to escape the Olympics in the south.

I seldom take 2 weeks' holiday, last one was in 2001 for an intercontinental trip to visit my folks for a week, then off with my then hubby for a week.

I have never taken 2 weeks off during the summer school holiday, and it is most likely to be last!

Afterall, it is unlikely UK will host another Olympic in my lifetime.

I shall be fine once I am on the road I am sure, only 2 more sleeps and 2 full days' work to go, can't wait!

I'm on a 9 weeker catching up on owed days and may go to the Olympics then may not it all depends. You have fun though its the summer of the decade
