Hello everyone.

Just curious what everyone is reading at the moment.

Although I tend to listen to books more than read.

The complete works of Sherlock Holmes read by Stephen Fry was my last book.

Looking for recommendations. Do like a good autobiography.

Away with the faeries

I'm still reading The Princess Bride. Lately (as in the last 6 months), I have been falling asleep before I can finish two pages. I'm halfway through it and have been for ages!

Definitely to be taken less as a comment on the quality of the book (it's written so well and is very funny) and more about me as a tiiiiired human being.

There and to the left a bit

Cilka's Journey - the follow up to Tattoist Of Auschwitz that tells the story of one of the other characters mainly what happened to her after she was released from Auschwitz.

It's "faction" so partly based on what is known, partly imagined - but a good read all the same

I'm listening to The Thursday Murder Club on BBC Sounds. I had high hopes at first but I don't think it takes well to being serialised. I might wait until all episodes are available.

I'm not reading anything as such but I've got a complete drawing course in a book in a vain attempt to learn How to sketch.

I gave up on The Thursday Murder Club. The characters were really well rounded but the plot was soooooo slow.

Yes, I think it's a novel for people who enjoy the journey rather than the destination
