Hahah this!

Always have fluffy socks on these days!

Wouldn't take the bins out though! You'd get wet socks!

I clearly didn’t think it through, one of my primary motives was to have a Versatile footwear that doubles up as a bin taker outer, poor judgement on my part.

This is very decadent that you have multiple pairs, I felt the pressure just purchasing the one pair.

Overrated, in my humble opinion. The soles wear out too quickly. What you need, City, are some boot slippers. You'd be ever so toasty with some booties and your hot water bottle.

Yes I think I'll put a survey up on FB and see what my friends think ...

It's the lack of sexiness, I'm worried for when I have to open the front door to the Curry delivery man or the Amazon courier

Most of them were gifts. Anyone that knows me knows I hate being cold!

Have you worn yours yet??

.

I like wearing sock slippers for their comfortable factor. I also like wearing boots wellington because they keep my feet warm and dry when it's raining outside. That happens a lot right now due to the weather, if it's really cold I wear muffs ear as well.

I always imagined you to wear moccasins. And a trappers hat. A modern day, more edgier version, of Davy Crockett.

When I was looking at them my first thought was that sole is gonna go in no time, I should have listened to my instincts, reckless decision.

Yes, I’m wearing them as I type this, I can’t stop looking at them, I hope that feeling of newness doesn’t go too soon.

This is a very informative post. I’ve yet to take the plunge and get ear muffs, mainly as I don’t think men can pull that look off, where as women can, maybe I am wrong on this matter I will ponder this some more, warm ears are an enticing thought though.

This is very much how I did see myself up until recently, but at my age comfort is my main concern. Having said that you’ve made me want to purchase a trappers hat now.

I wouldn’t try them myself as I have some trusted blue man slippers for such tasks that require.

Hopefully, but I’m nervous about bin day and how they will hold up and what the neighbours will think if I’m spotted taking the bin out with them on, I probably should have gone with blue man slippers too.

Hawaiian shorts are the answer.

Men in any form of slip on foot covering can pull it off regardless when combined with Hawaiian shorts, especially for bin putting out duty.

It is known.

I prefer multiple pairs of socks, and a few pairs of slippers.

If my feet sweat I can change socks and keep the slippers.

I have an ongoing battle with the binmen, if they see me in Hawaiian shorts I feel this will give them the upper hand, but then I may gain their respect for wearing them in January, it is a dilemma, one I will have to consider.

Today I saw a bloke in a wax jacket, wellies, and a very thin and flimsy pair of pink shorts out walking his dog in the rain. My first thought was 'that man has grit'. I think the bin men will marvel at your hardy masculinity.

That’s a striking look, the juxtaposition of the varying styles is very brave, obviously he has total confidence in his masculinity and basks in it, the only thing the binman marvel at is if I remembered to put the right bin out.

I just seem to wear one pair of shoes for everything, indoors and out and up and down stairs, until they fall apart. I would imagine delegating a role to a slipper sock in the house would mean my shoes may last a bit longer if teemed up with a croc or similar for garden activities. Interesting.
