Not all trans women wear wigs, nor do they all go as far as I have with surgical intervention. They’re still women. I also refuse to differentiate between post op ts women, cross dressers or transvestites. I’ve been on ‘this scene’ long enough to have learned everyone has their own journey. I started my journey simply presenting in a submissively female way to define my role when I was with a man. That simply amounted to a pair of heels and a short skirt. No wig. No makeup. I didn’t even shave my legs. I swiftly had to acknowledge it wasn’t about dressing up for me. I needed to give in to my long buried awareness that I simply wasn’t male. I also refuse to differentiate between post op ts women, cross dressers or transvestites. I’ve been on ‘this scene’ long enough to have learned everyone has their own journey. I started my journey simply presenting in a submissively female way to define my role when I was with a man. That simply amounted to a pair of heels and a short skirt. No wig. No makeup. I didn’t even shave my legs. I swiftly had to acknowledge it wasn’t about dressing up for me. I needed to give in to my long buried awareness that I simply wasn’t male. When I see people describing tv/ts as men in dresses I feel defensive of many of my friends. I appreciate there are also a lot of men who dress as a kink and they too see themselves as men in dresses. That’s fine too but it’s their call. No one else’s.
