"It’s looking like another year ,I’m not sure I could do that .don’t know if anyone else feels the same.what is the point of going on ." It’s better than the alternative!! In a year or so (hopefully sooner!) this dull and boring life will be a distant memory and we will be busy bees with a full diary and not enough time to do all that we want. There are 100000 people who would be grateful to have the chance to feel the way we do right now. If you’re feeling low, contact people, offer to volunteer, join some local community groups, seek professional support. There is light at the end of this long tunnel. Lou xx Lou xx

"If it’s going to be another year, I believe allowing one household to ‘bubble’ with one other household only, would not only alleviate some of the mental health issues that lots have started having to deal with, but also I feel people would be less likely to break lockdown rules if they had some sort of social support within their lives. Yes, there’s obviously those that would take the piss and have several bubbles on the go, but these are likely to be the same people that are already breaking the rules right now anyway." A single person can already bubble with one other. That's enough. Let's say 4 in one family all working and 4 in another with 1 working and 1 at secondary school who used public transport....... Just imagine all the people they come into contact with. No chance of getting the R down if one family can see another family.

"Lockdown has taken my job and any chance of getting one .it’s just not looking good." Sorry to hear that. You will get another job, it may not be what you’ve been doing until recently but something will come up and it will be an opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills etc. Xx

" I guess not going to the pictures or not being able to tickle someone's cock gets some down. " i think this belittles the impact that being totally isolated has on people i dont disagree with the lockdown but why can’t we just acknowledge that because someone has it hard in another way it doesn’t invalidate that its hard for each person we seem to have gotten competitive with who is deserving of compassion and if someone has it worse you don’t qualify

"It’s very difficult for everyone at the moment no matter what our situations may be. There is every point in going on. There is now light at the end of the tunnel at least. Please don’t give up. It will get better. " this and take it in small chunks ... i cant face another year either ... but i can manage til easter , then maybe ill be ready to manage another few months and so on ... if they told us nearly a year last march we would have gone ... but look we already made it

Don’t look at the longer term. I learned this in life when I found out my child had issues. I nearly had a breakdown worrying about her future. What if we die, what if she can’t do this that and the other! I now don’t look much further than the next few months and it’s easier. Nobody knows what the future holds. Nobody x

"It’s looking like another year ,I’m not sure I could do that .don’t know if anyone else feels the same.what is the point of going on ." There is light dude.. I know it seems like it's a forever thing. But together we will pull through. I lost my job in September and I was at rock bottom.. but now I'm learning myself a new trade and I stay well away from the news and social media... you'll see the light dude
