What I was trying to get over is that we are in a pandemic

What that means is that many people aren't meeting or looking to arrange meets

So literally thousands of messages will go unread or unanswered every day

People just aren't feeling the horn

Your age will be prohibitive to many, but not all

Have you carried out a local search of profiles of those who will meet a guy of your age?

Someone will be along shortly to tell you how to make a success of your fab experience I'm sure - with examples of how successful they are and how most others are getting it all wrong. Yet with no knowledge of who you are or what makes you tick. My advice would be that you already know, just enjoy being yourself fella, not what people tell you to be

You won't get many messages at the moment Connor as people shouldn't be meeting. It is a good time to make connections though via the forum, chat rooms or messaging people whose preferences you fit. It will be difficult for you whatever the status of the pandemic because you are very young by comparison. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be here but you might have to adjust your expectations and maybe use fab as a learning experience.

Don't take too much notice of the (mostly) good natured ribbing .

To reassure you a little, it's not much better at the the other end of the age spectrum. I've had messages from 25 people in the last 6 months -- and 17 of those were from gay/bi men (I'm straight) and one from the site admin.

At least I have made a few contacts that may work out when things get better. Good luck.

There are guys on here that haven't had a message at all in a few years.

And that was before Covid.

Advice?

Firstly stop thinking that this site is instashag. For the vast majority on here it isn't.

Secondly. The vast majority on here are 40+ and while a few will fancy the novelty of someone your age (after Covid of course) most won't.

Welcome to the reality of the swinger lifestyle.
