Sounds like something someone with an average body would say

But seriously, I think we all have our insecurities when it comes to our bodies so I can see why those kind of threads would be off-putting. Those mentioned may only serve to highlight what we think our flaws are when in reality, we're all built differently and there are some things we just can't change. I think we should just try to remember what's good about ourselves and try to ignore the "bad" stuff

There are so many body types on here and there will always be someone who thinks they are beautiful. Those 'best body' competitions never work because it's all so subjective.

Thanks OP. I’ve looked at a few of the profiles on here, men and women, and they all look mighty fine to me. Showing your body to a bunch of horny strangers takes courage and I bet everyone on here has been perved over by someone.

Yes, at its best this should be a community of people with common interests, not a competition.

I agree with you. The most difficult part for anyone to like is themselves. I used to hate myself the way I look. It has taken ages and a lot of hard work to get me accepting myself for myself and now, my mentality is.. if no one can accept me for being me.. then it's their lose, not mine

I do have a problem with those kind of threads. I haven't got a peachy bum. I haven't got the best boobs and I certainly don't have the best body. What doesn't help is when I do try to put myself into a thread I get ignored by the men in the furom. I don't know whether non of them like me or they're embarrassed to admit they do. Sorry i got a bit carried away.

No need to apologise for saying how you feel

I do completely understand and can relate to how you see yourself but for me I don't mind if I get overlooked on a thread... I just never think of it as being ignored though... neither should you.

I think true inclusivity begins with including, respecting and valuing ALL people of ALL types, shapes, opinions and abilities, even the "classically beautiful" or whatever you choose to label them as. Perhaps they don't always see what others see in them, right?

I sort of see what you mean but thing is if you feel like that just don’t join them. If I see a “slim”’thread or a “small boobs”’thread I just don’t join in. I don’t really have an issue with those kind of threads to be honest. Everyone does have a preference and why shouldn’t they talk about theirs. It doesn’t mean they’re saying all other body types are awful, that would be different. I never really get all the issues over those threads to be honest. We are what we are. Why get upset if someone posts a thread liking something that we’re not or we don’t have.

My body confidence is the lowest it’s been in a long time, not loving the extra covid curves one bit and need to start shifting them before spring when we’re actually allowed to leave the house again haha. In terms of others though I don’t have a type at all, much more about having a connection with someone for me cheesy as that probably sounds. So many beautiful bodies on here, variety is the spice of life and all that

I could not agree more. I would try and not worry about covid curves I imagine you are as beautiful with them than without. I'm sure for some people it's only about looks but I get a whole lot more out of amazing people than just show bodies. I love all types and that is not a sign of desperation its just the truth!!
