Don't you just love it when someone says something bu tthey mis-pronounce it. I started a new job this week, I make TV ads for a living, and I was reviewing a script featuring Eric Cantona, our Client, who should know, kept saying...

Catona

I couldn't bring myself to correct him, laughing my ass off away from my Zoom screen everytime he said.

What mis-pronounciations have tickled you?

Asper Ra Gus is another recent fav from a friend's Mum.

In my line of work we have items that may or may not be controlled centrally, and they are therefore either eligible or non-eligible. I used to work with a Guy who insisted that those that weren’t were illegible

But that's because you all say it wrongly.

And everyone knows northerners should be seen and not heard.

Crack on with cleaning out the stables now will you and be quick about it.

And mid Landers should only speak when spoken to.
