The land of grey peas and bacon

in the sun after finishing work waiting for a friend to finish work so we can go out for dinner. what have you guys been up to on this gorgeous day?

went to Pennywell farm in south devon. Its a big petting farm type thing with miniature horses and those pigs

Had an amazing day, gorgeous weather and was super proud of squidge riding a horse so confidently

Petting means holding, stroking, like you have said, but i think the poster is like me and hasnt used it as a term for petting farm. Guess petting is just an old fashioned word and petting farm is just a new fashioned thing.

Heavy petting used to mean kissing and cuddling

Indoors in air-conditioned offices, then into the car with air-conditioning, then into the house with air-conditioning.

Not going out yet until the temperature outside is cooler, as I do not like the heat or the sun.
