It proves nothing to me, I will meet verified or unverified. I have met lying arrogant twats who were verified. As long as they have a photo that is verified, I will consider meeting.

Fuck all and everything.

In one case it could be a fraudulent veri.

In another case I could be wanting a social meet before anything else, I have a read of their veris and see lots of social meets. That tells me they don't have a problem with socials and aren't just saying it as a cover story

The photo verification is useful to provide a degree of legitimacy to your profile. But by itself is hugely limited. A site supporter pass proves nothing at all, other than you've paid a couple of quid to keep the site running.

Verifications, from meeting in person, has value. It shows you are real, have met others, etc. But once again it is a flawed idea for numbers reasons. It can easily be faked. How you are with one person / couple bears no reaction to how you will be with others. But the big one...

You can choose to publish or not. So, if I were to meet a lady, and write a glowing verification stating how her beauty knows no rival, her skills in the sexual arts make her a virtuoso, and other glowing praise, she's likely to hit the publish button. Conversely, if I stated that she smelt like a sewage outlet, had teeth like a buck-toothed badger, more facial hair than me, and other less complimentary terms describing the whole experience, she's less likely to publish it. So, limited value.

Im not against meeting unverified people if we are getting on well and I have confidence that's they seem like a nice genuine person but it is always prefers by me if they do have a verification, it shows that they have previously arranged and gone through with a meet when let's gmface it there are many people who like to talk a big game and then end uo standing you up.... Another (flawed I'm sure) logic is that if you've met someone and managed to not axe murder them long enough for them to verify you then good chance if I meet with you you will refrain from axe murdering me too

It proves absolutely nothing at all.

Nothing.

Between Chichester and Havant

The photo verification means very little.

The cam verification doesn't prove you will actually meet.

A meet verification is the one I would look for, but even that would depend on who it's by.

Mean nothing whatsoever, just depends if its important to you. If you wanna show off how many people you've fucked, by all means get several lol but I prefer no more than 10 if I'm looking at a guys profile x

It means everything and nothing at the same time. It’s just one measure of authenticity.

I have no verifications even though I’ve met a fair few people on the forum.

It’s the Internet so just assume everything and everyone is a lie

Verifications are a massive turn off. I don't give a fuck who you've met and what you've done with them. *shrugs*

But then I've always been able to make good decisions for myself.

Just curious because I see some profiles saying no verification no chatting

They are supposed to verify you are the person on your profile and in your photos, but, as you can upload different photos after you have been verified it doesn't mean squat.

Someone could be the perfect man for lots of women on here, and be not my cup of tea.

"Just curious because I see some profiles saying no verification no chatting"

Maybe because some people don't meet and only chat.

So don't chat with them. No biggie. We all have ways of filtering and all have different criteria. Give less concern over others would be my advice.

There and to the left a bit

They *can* be a useful indication of the type of person they are, especially if they have multiple veris from different people across different dates - however they should also be taken with a very subjective pinch of salt.

For me they're but a very tiny part of establishing if I want to meet someone and how genuine that person is - you can't beat getting to know someone over a period of time, seeing if there is a connection and chemistry for that - has never failed me.

It’s a simple process, if you can’t be arsed to do it, why would you be confident that person would be arsed to turn up for a meet or actually be the real thing that they claim on their profile.

They’re vital for finding out if someone sucks like a Dyson or not.

Also how would you know whether to treat them with respect or not if RodDickwell didn’t tell you to.

Really not something to agonise over

If you meet someone and get verified, great. If you nag someone into verifying, not cool. Don't make an issue out of nothing and you'll be fine.
