I completely agree. The subject itself makes the picture, the colour or lack of is down to what is in frame. Some times b&w cant take away from the image as a whole, some times it adds to it.

I personally prefer the colour pics because you can be more distinctive. However, depending on the type of picture, black and white works very well

I generally prefer colour, but I took a few recently which really worked in black and white.

So it really depends on the image I think.

We like a mixture of both - we just take a view depending on the effect we’re after and what we think looks nice - everything is done on our iPhones. It’s a fun hobby this year and gives me an opportunity to dress up! X
