Have you tried de-fuzzing your hole? Essential maintenance for the iPhone at least.

I wish cables were all the same size. I've a huge tub of obsolete cables that will puzzle future archaeologists.

Vibe do good phone charging stuff. White & lime green packaging. Apple stuff is MFI certified but micro USB & type c just as good & usually not badly priced. Better than cheap shite from amazon & eBay from brand X

Yes but once plugged in the cable never needs to be touched and should last a lifetime.

"Forget cables and use wireless charging. Never need worry about a cable again"

Wireless charging takes a lot longer than a cable, and you can't use the phone while it's sat on the charging pad. Ok for when you're in bed I guess, but the lights always kept me awake.

For me I use a USB-C cable from Amazon, 3m long and nylon braided (lookup Cabepow). £11 for 2 but worth it.

Yes wireless charging is good but not fast and when in bed you need that cable will take a look at the Anker ones
