Do you friends that aren't involved in this scene know that you are bi?

I told my closest vanilla friends last year and they were fully supportive, weren't surprised, and didn't treat me any differently whatsoever.

I was over the moon with them all.

No body really knows. I told my best friend from school who I reconnected with that I like swingers parties and she really wasn’t surprised.

Probably because she was my first real girl crush which I didn’t hide well

Not really, if you were to ask any of them they'd tell you I was straight as a dye. Have never openly talked about being bi, off here.

Some know some don’t. My best friend was one of the first girls I ever got with so she definitely knows though she’s swears she’s strictly dickly now lol she’s on baby no 5.

I told my new college mates who are significantly younger than me and they didn’t even bat an eyelid so I guess society is more accepting. When I was 17 I told my mum and she said it was a phase lol little did she know.

Strictly dickly I've never heard that saying before. Love it.

A friend knows I've been with women in threesomes, but not actually told her I'm bi. I don't really discuss fab life in my normal life. It doesn't bother me. Love chatting on here about all things fab. Mrs x

This is a great place where people can openly be themselves.

"I don't discuss sex with my friends. I'm not 13."

Also not 13, discuss sex with my pals quite often.

The two aren't related.

If anything, I'd suggest a level of maturity is required to have open and frank conversations about sex.

I like this. People should be able to be open about such things.

Friends know, only when it comes up conversationally. They like to swear off men every now and then, no converting the faithless though

Family has no clue, it never needed to be said.

Assuming they want to hear about it. Some people seem to think the whole world wants to know every aspect of their sex life. Zero discretion.

Aka verifications.

I'm not sure how that's relative...

Just don't think the OP or discussing sex has anything to do with age/maturity, that's all.

You choose to keep your business to yourself, nothing wrong with that...but there's nothing wrong with chatting to friends about it either...that's all I'm saying...

It's not indiscreet to have a chat with a pal about anything.

I don't see how confiding in your trustworthy best friends about sexuality is breaking discretion, but there we go. Each to their own.

Yep. I've been somewhat open about it since I was a teenager. My high school friends know. I don't really feel any need to announce it to people but it it ever comes up I don't hide it.

If there is mutual agreement. I don’t see why it’s a problem. I’m genuinely curious as to why you think age makes a difference.

Only ppl on fab know im bi.

Ive always had thing for women, id look and say to inked yrs ago shes gorgeous, look at her figure blah blah blah. He knew way before i told him that i was bi and that was his chance to tell me about fab and a way for me to explore my sexuality.

My first experience with another woman was ffm and it was amazing. The next step is ff(i just think that would allow more exploring) though im always very happy for ffm.

I just wished id have said something sooner

Miss
