Now this may be a sensitive subject for some but why on earth do big people.claim they have a fabulous body.

A fabulous score is a high score, a fabulous glossy shine is just that. So why do bigger people claim to have fabulous figures. Now I'm not svelt, toned, an Adonis but when I click on a profile and see fabulous you.would expect an amazing figure.

Fab can you do away with these wishful thinking terms for size and just have good ol' sizes we all know a size 8 is slim, a 12 is average bit a size 18 and above is definitely not fabulous it is a health scare

Surely it's how the individual feels about themselves. If they are on the larger size but they are happy, then why can't they call themselves fabulous.

Why should it affect you how others describe themselves?

So enlighten me as to what I am at a size 12/14/16 then? Just plain old fat?? What do "we all know" a size 14-18 is as you've missed that bracket. Women's "sizes" vary depending on where they shop. Fully considered, and people should be able to search based on preference. As not every profile has a picture, and people are creative with camera angles and filters nowadays an actual size would help many.

I get clothes bridge sizes, bit of I preferred larger 16+ size women, or under size 14 I should be able to filter accordingly. The site has been around long enough to introduce better filters and search parameters.

It's not a dig at larger or slimmer people it's directed at fab as they don't seem to take a great deal on board to improve the site

OP I get what you're trying to say. You've said pretty bloody badly, but I think what you meant was that that Fab makes it hard to filter by body size preference because the categories are vague. I understand that, I call myself curvy because I am curvy, but I've been criticised for doing this as others think curvy means other things. There's no right answer, we all interpret it our own way. Your idea of clothes sizes is tricky because they vary by height/frame - a size 8 on someone my height would look skeletal, for example.

Your best bet is just to look at photos. And brace yourself for the responses you'll get in this thread lol.

If that's how somebody whatever their shape or size wants to describe their own body that is on them and maybe they don't fit into any of the other categories because they are very narrow.

You will not be the 1st all the last to suggest this however you did it in a very clumsy way.

You say you are not having a dig at anyone larger but if that was the case you would not have said anything 18 plus was a health scare.

Cloths size actually has very little to do with body shape or type.

Not really sure why you care enough to make a whole thread about it? Don't really see how it hurts you. If you don't like someone's body just... Move on to the next profile...

It's up to the person themselves what they want to call themselves. If you don't agree then just move on. Why knock a body type just because it doesn't fit what you think it should.

I'm not slim I wish I was but I'm not it's a work in progress. Would I have the body confidence to call myself fabulous not a hope so I am full of admiration for those no matter what their size is for doing that.

It's just sickening how people on here knock others because they don't fit into what they think is right and take pleasure in knocking anyone who may have confidence in how they look.

It's clearly a touchy subject I think op has merit. It's not about body shaming at all, and that's never been said. Nor is he commenting on whether someone "feels" fabulous or "feels" marvelous or anything else.it's just observing the anachronism of the term. "body type" is the label. And fabulous is a judgement. OP you say "It's not a dig at larger or slimmer people it's directed at fab as they don't seem to take a great deal on board to improve the site."

So you don't believe that saying

"Fabulous you would expect an amazing figure" so your suggesting that larger people cannot be fabulous though I don't see why they cannot be?

And this is the worst one in my opinion using a person's health which you don't give a crap about let's be honest, but you're using it as a put down "fabulous it is a health scare".

Now you're entitled to your preference and yeah the body categories here aren't ideal. But you choose to go for the larger ladies not men. If you're that worried you could have offered some ideas for both genders, but no you decided not to, funny that.

There's something of a fixation on women's sizing, yes. If it's not clothes size, then it's bra size (woefully misunderstood). Have we had any examples of women asking for men with only a certain waist size?!

There's something of a fixation on women's sizing, yes. If it's not clothes size, then it's bra size (woefully misunderstood). Have we had any examples of women asking for men with only a certain waist size?!"

I have thoughts on this.

I'm not going there

Many yrs ago I used to be slim, around 8.5st and thought anyone over a size 10/12 was fat, but that came and bit me in the ass, as I had a thyroid condition called hypothyroidism, it ment I could eat 15,000 calories a day and not put an ounce of weight on, but I had a hard choice to make, either try and eat 20,000+ calories a day or my body would start to eat itself and could possibly die or have a operation to have my thyroid removed, so I chose to have the operation, within 6mts I put on 10st, I lost 1.5" off my cock (it now 6.5") and I gained more weight my highest was 26st. But it now around 18 to 19st and I started to love the more fabulous lady one of my ex's was a size 22 and another size 26, I've also had some ladies size 10 upwards. I know I'm no Adonis but I feel great in my body and many fabulous women look fucking hot and sexy. I just wish I wasn't such a dick all those years ago. Keep it going you fabulous sexy hot women!

Well from a crisp eating fatty. I wear sizes 20/22/24. Does that help. We all come in various shapes. How many options would you like choose from?

Perfection doesn't come from options,it's in the eye of the beholder. I'm not very good with words but this woman is trying damn hard to except her self the way she is.

Sorry I don't come with a delete button. Just move on.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I think there is no way that you can actually use body shape/size labels as a guide to what someone's body is like. Saying that, you can also not use clothes size or even measurements to accurately know what someone's body will be like. Because we are all different, and some people (sit down, this will come as a shock) aren't entirely truthful.

All you can do, if body size matters that much to you, is go by pictures. And if someone doesn't have pictures then they are obviously not for you.

And by the way, I had way more health issues when I was a size 12-16 (as the size that fits depends on so very many things) than I do now I'm a size 18-24 (if I went down a couple cup sizes I'd drop a size immediately).

No one who says they are concerned for fat people's health are actually bothered about people's health. They just use it as an excuse to make comments about their weight.

'I'm not being mean, but being that fat is not good for your health'

Correlation and causation are different things. You can be slim and very unhealthy. You can be larger and very unhealthy. There isn't a direct link. Health is more closely correlated with lifestyle and genetics, and yes some lifestyles are also correlated with being overweight. But that doesn't mean being overweight is always unhealthy.

Nah. Not at a size 18.

That's the average dress size here in the UK.

Lots of women who wear a size 18 are perfectly fit and healthy. The label in their jeans tells you fuck all except the size of their jeans.

You can "not see it that way" but facts are facts. The OP was body shaming. And dress size doesn't tell you how healthy someone is. Fact. I'd suggest opening your eyes if you can't see that.

At the end of the day if would you pick someone of a particular size with no personality and shite blow job skills or the opposite body size who makes you laugh your socks off and gives the best head you’ve ever had?

I know what I’d pick...just sayin

You realise there are often good reasons for people missing punctuation or misspelling? No amount of pointing it out will improve things, so if you struggle to understand the post in the form it is presented, why not just move on, instead of criticising people? The person may be dyslexic or not a native speaker of English etc.

Dress size and physiche are 2 entirely different things.... A woman of 5'9" and a dress size 12 would be described as slim by any standards, however someone of 4'10" and size 12 looks totally different and some would describe her as curvy, voluptuous etc BUT she's still a size 12!!!! OP it's akin to a woman saying she's not interested in any man who takes over 34" waist jeans..... A guy 5'5" and one 6'3" may well both buy said waist size but one will appear much slimmer than the other.

"Your OP is a tad ignorant but youre entitled to your opinion. Going by dress size is moot, size 12 in one shop is size 14 in another.

Live and let live? We all know being over weight is bad and lockdown(s) haven't helped. Maybe not everyone wants to be a size 12 slim thing, ever considered that?

It's clearly a touchy subject I think op has merit. It's not about body shaming at all, and that's never been said. Nor is he commenting on whether someone "feels" fabulous or "feels" marvelous or anything else.it's just observing the anachronism of the term. "body type" is the label. And fabulous is a judgement. Its kind of similar to changing the height label to... "tall, short or fabulous" or the sexuality to straight, bi or fabulous.

Read the OP again and tell me that is not boby shaming.

He said very clearly anything over a size 18 is a health scare

I don't read it as shaming anything. But then I may have blinkers on or just not refined my language skills enough yet. Text can certainly be a clumsy communication medium..

Lu

Like I said... I don't see it that way. As for health and size... Yeah there's quite a strong correlation there

No one who says they are concerned for fat people's health are actually bothered about people's health. They just use it as an excuse to make comments about their weight.

'I'm not being mean, but being that fat is not good for your health'

You don't know a person's health by looking at picture of their tits in a swingers site. "

Years of research has shown a consistent association between excess weight and increased risk of health problems...and whilst you can't tell someone's BMI or body composition from looking at pictures, it's pretty easy to see if someone is carrying a few (or more) extra pounds. Very few ladies will be a dress size 18 while also having a (generally considered by the medical profession) healthy body fat percentage...so I'd say the OP is correct in that aspect.

I don't agree with criticising people's choice of words to describe themselves, but I do think that the choices on here to describe yourself are very limited and don't tend to pay them much attention, I just go on the pictures.

Many factors go into health.

Having a higher body fat percentage than the government deem acceptable doesn't mean you're in bad health.

Being overweight doesn't make you unhealthy.

Weight lifting women who wear a size 18 May not even have a high body fat percentage....more than likely muscle.

It's just another way for people to justify body shaming others.

A fabulous score is a high score, a fabulous glossy shine is just that. So why do bigger people claim to have fabulous figures. Now I'm not svelt, toned, an Adonis but when I click on a profile and see fabulous you.would expect an amazing figure.

Fab can you do away with these wishful thinking terms for size and just have good ol' sizes we all know a size 8 is slim, a 12 is average bit a size 18 and above is definitely not fabulous it is a health scare"

The problem is you and people like you who feel you have the right to judge and comment on what others look like. Theres way too many people in this world that tear theirselves down without other people doing it also. Feeling good about how you look and your body can only be a positive thing no matter what shape or size you may be. I hope everyone realises they are good enough one day despite the ignorance and unkindness others show. If you can't say nothing nice, don't say anything at all

You see there you made an assumption that when I said size and health I was implying larger sizes. I wasn't. I chose my words deliberately.. As you quite rightly say... Being undersized can also have health rated issues. Anyway look I don't mean to upset or argue but from what I've seen these discussions tend to become quite inflamed with what people assume someone means compared to what they've actually written.

I'd tick the health scare box.

The size boxes are irrelevant anyway. Everyone has different opinions about them.

If people treated profiles as though there was a real person behind them and not just sex meat, there would be no need for a tick box.
