Basque shopping advice in Newcastle

I really want a basque but don't know where to start. Can anyone offer any advice? I have no idea about what size I am

I don’t know about Newcastle’s shops, or even if anything’s open at the moment, but I buy most of my stuff online. I like Pour Moi for things like that, if what you’re after is more of a fashion basque rather than a proper corset.

As for size, if you use breast forms or a breast plate, take measurements with them/it on - to find your bra size you’ll need the bust measurement around the widest part (usually over the nipples) and the measurement around your ribcage right below the breasts. Have a look online for how to calculate bra size (but don’t bother with the calculation that says add 4” or 5”).

Use your body measurements against an online tool to find your female dress size and then buy online.

It will be your best bet. Try a cheap one from eBay until you've found what you like / want.

The 'transform clinic' used to be on the corner of Low Friar street and fenkle street but I'm not sure where it is now
