Been dreaming about hot toasted crumpets, slathered in butter, so it runs over your fingers and down your chin.... As pockets of steam escape as you bite into them and tear them apart with your teeth

I’ve been through a pack this week. Lockdown is making me mad for comfort food. I like them lightly crispy with honey and butter, and a hot mug of tea x

Now I'd have agreed whole heartedly with you that this was the only way to have your crumpets but.....

Toasted crumpets, slathered in Philadelphia then topped with a perfectly cooked and gooey runny poached egg then drizzled with HP brown sauce.

They give you a warm cosy feeling in your belly, you HAVE to try it
