What is the main thing you have been missing since covid started last year.

Don’t have to be sexual. Just going on a night out or going round a friends house.

I think with us it will be the clubs and meeting new people there

Honestly, the one thing I miss is leaving my house without worrying.

I'm quite vulnerable and I've been in self imposed lockdown since March.

I hate shopping, I can't have anyone round, not safe for a bubble.

I just want to go outside without that dark cloud hanging over me.

South Wales

Just going for a walk without having folk diving into a hedgerow if they think you’re too close.

Casual touch: a hand on the arm, or the small of the back, a hug, an arm around the shoulder.

"Casual touch: a hand on the arm, or the small of the back, a hug, an arm around the shoulder."

All these things we took for granted.

Now taken away

Nottingham/and everywhere my location says i am ;)

A handshake, a hug.. Human contact in general. FaceTime and all the other stuff is great and has been a lifeline for years when I was abroad.

But now it’s like water torture, the people I wanted to see the most, still has to be via a digital medium. :’(

Getting on a busy tube on a Friday evening

After being excited all week and counting the days

Hugs, mostly hugs, but also; loud music, dancing, pubs, djing, trying to get a word in edgeways cause everybody is talking, crying with laughter listening to my favourite people rip the piss out of each other and me, smiling at complete strangers and them smiling back (masks), holding a microphone, buying the bar staff a round of shots, watching a band, fuck it just buying a ticket for a show amd knowing it won't be cancelled, having a hangover and knowing it was worth it. I need to go out and be among people!!!!

Gaaaahhhh

Once things get back to some sort of normality, one thing is for sure.

We won't take the little things for granted anymore.

We will treasure these moments.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I can't even stand to think about it any more, it hurts too much to think of the things I miss, and the things I've missed out on.

There and to the left a bit

Putting aside all the obvious ones as givens probably the biggest thing has been gigs - had so much planned for 2020 which has been postponed to 2021 but suspect will now either not happen or be postponed to 2022 - and have really missed it

Just to go out and not worry about social distancing, stopping to talk to people and not feel anxious about being too close to one another

Freedom and choice.

It's covers so much I now cannot have or do ranging from the small things to big things that really matter.

I really miss a certain person that means more to me than she'll ever realise and I can't go near her. I can't wait till I can.

I’m more bothered that as it stands and how I’m feeling, I won’t trust being in such large crowds again and have tickets half a dozen big gigs that have been postponed to this year.

A number of my friends have long Covid after attending gigs last March.

There won't be any big gigs this year - not stadium sized, standing ones anyway - seated arenas with reduced capacities possibly.

I agree. I’ll probably write off the tickets or sell them back anyway.

Warwick

Watching a band play live, jumping up and down, shoulder to shoulder, and singing along with a big group of random strangers.

Even though, you may know them, at that moment in time you feel a connection with them like at no other time.

I normally a little introverted and dislike crowds, but Lockdown has made me realise just how much I love and miss 'that' environment.

Probably going to be one of the last things to start up again too

Hugging people, plain and simple. Family, friends, work colleagues we all hug. I did wear a poncho to hug someone special once last year that is not a euphemism!
