My musical roots are in 60s Merseybeat and 70s heavy, prog and glam rock. That broadened into an eclectic mix from classical to tech. house, including almost all genres, although grime, thrash and death metal and tuneless, cacophonous stuff I haven’t grown a taste for.

.

Currently it's orchestral/string quartet versions of modern popular music because clearly life is better with Taylor Swift's crooning being replaced by a viola.

Otherwise, it's eclectic.

Music is indeed the key of life, couldn't do without it!

My taste varies but tends to switch between old school hip hop and jungle. Not reprensentative of my age at all!

I have music on all day and if I'm honest most nights. I hate anything safe and mediocre, beige music doesn't do anything for me.

I'll listen to anything from 20th century classical like Steve Reich or Phillip Glass to Bowie, Roxy Music, 80s synth, Radiohead, Nick Cave, techno, shoegaze and the more Avant Garde.

6music is my radio station of choice

Northern soul for us. We met through that scene and long to go dancing again as well as meet other swingers when it's safe to do so. If you like northern soul and jazz/funk rare groove then say hello and put " soulie" in your header

I always have the radio on in the background usually Capitol. Sometimes I'll get Alexa to shuffle songs by certain bands, depends on my mood tbh. Last thing I listened to was Miley Cyrus new album, loving it!

Music I can either sing to or makes me wanna shake it

I am of age, born of older parents, raised by grandparents and never really got passed the 90's

I love singers that belt it out, I love soul & disco, I enjoy swing, gypsy jazz, northern soul, motown and select country

I don't enjoy instrumental, electronic, rock, punk or Ed Sheeran
