Pitching or settling

For those of you that have snow, would you say it is pitching or settling? Always been pitching to me x

I've never heard if pitching OP, it has always been described as settling although it very rarely does that now sadly.

I've got family down in the bottom end of Cornwall and they call it settling too.

'Settling' for me in the midlands. Like Sophie, I've never heard of pitching used in the context of snow before. Learn something every day.

Born in Doncaster, moved alot, all the way down to luton and now staying in the midlands.

I can confirm....I have never heard of pitching

Always heard settling
