Theres not one person on here who hasn't broken covid regs.

Loads are meeting and will continue to do so.

Your job is irrelevant to it.

Its business as usual just without pubs and barbers.

Thats a big baloney sandwich you're feeding us there sausage.

I for one haven't been leaving the house without my mask, and am not even visiting family whome I love let alone a stranger purely for pleasure. I am in no doubt that some are meeting, but I would say that the majority are using their brains and keeping it in their pants till it's safe to meet again.

From what I'm witnessing this is true.

Hes not saying he condones it, but this is exactly what appears to be going on.

The roads are as busy as ever around here. So many more people are out working than the first lockdown too.

And it’s attitudes like that which have got us to where we are now. How demoralising for people like the OP.

However, we’re key workers and have no choice but to go to work and I can only assume it’s the same for many in my area as the roads are still very busy.

We would never arrange to meet anyone though, we catch up with our mates via phone or video calls. It’s worrying enough having to go to work and the supermarket.

And to say ‘your job is irrelevant’.. I think your veri sums that up.

This If I posted a picture of me wearing my scrubs on here and was recognised and reported I’d be dismissed for gross misconduct and quite rightly so.

How can you say that? Can you prove that everyone on the site is breaking the rules? Yes there are people meeting and we all know they shouldn't be. Block and report but don't tar everyone with the same brush.

middle of nowhere Cornwall

We all say protect the NHS but I think it should be more here are some pictures from people who have had covid 19. As my friend who was healthy and a carer now can't work ever again he has half a lung eaten by covid19 and a heart defect. If they won't do it for others and are that selfish. Here see how it distroys healthy people.

Not met anybody... in months to be honest and well before the third December lockdown. It is beyond me how people can still ask to meet. I have changed my profile text and hidden most of pictures as I am so fed up with the irresponsible attitude.

Suppose retraining to a more suitable job for some one with half a lung might be a better idea then righting them off as that useless they can't work again in fairly certain typing can be done with an oxygen tank next to them

Perhaps, perhaps not.

It's still horrifying and we should try to prevent this by stopping the spread.

don't remember a point since March where we were allowed to meet people outside our bubbles for anything more than socialy distanced meets so if you have met anyone since March for anything more than a socialy distant meet then you have broke the rules

Sorry, I should clarify: I have not met any of my friends when we were allowed to in August/ September I think it was. I have definitely not met anybody off the site since before the first lockdown - my health and that of my elderly relatives is too important to me.

My sister works on ITU and she is exhausted. The amount of people in ITU at this moment because they decided to break restrictions and have NYE parties is really high. Some of these people have died and even more will have long-term health issues. They made a choice and my sister and her colleagues are now run ragged with work-stress related MH issues, which has a knock on effect on family life. If it was just themselves that they were negatively impacting fair enough, break all the rules. However, seeing my sister and her children suffer because of a NYE jolly is just shit.

I feel for you - we have doctors and nurses in the family, which is partly why I feel so strongly about this.
