But I'll trim my beard and such for Friday, when I'm allowed to go out for a walk!

Sometimes taking care of ourselves helps psychologically.

I'm not seeing anyone apart from the supermarket, but sometimes I do these things just to lift my mood.

I haven't been bothering much lately but I try every now and then to make myself feel a little normal. Had some lovely products in my birch box recently which gives me a bit more of an incentive to play around with things.

I’m keeping up with the grooming and skincare regime but not bothering with make up! I did on Xmas day and to be honest felt much better for it. I’m usually a wear make up every day person so at least I’m giving my face a rest. Hoping to come out of lockdown looking 10 years younger

I use boots No7 protect and perfect range. I’ve tried all different ones over the years but this is definitely the best. I really think it works too. I’ve noticed the difference. My skin is very dry and to be fair I’ve got hardly any wrinkles at all. I’ve always been pretty good with moisturising my face though. A few friends swear by it too x

Never been much of a groomer but always kept myself tidy. I'm glad, so shave my head, and since November I've kept the beard. I keep it trimmed, short, and as I'm in lockdown and isolating my beard has become my fried to play with as a distraction. I'm enjoying it.

I don't have specific suggestions - my creams are pretty basic - but I'm finding luck, myself, with using creams mostly for hydration, and treatment for other things. So a salicylic acid serum or treatment a few times a week in conjunction with creams focusing on hydration.

People rave about the Paula's Choice BHA Exfoliant, no personal experience. I'm currently using the Revolution salicylic acid serum, which works for me but has a strong scent (think teenage boy deodorant). Doesn't irritate me but irritant potential. (The scent is obnoxious but fades fast)

I need a new (vegan) shampoo + conditioner recommendation please

I have coloured hair, that is 'normal' (ie, not greasy)... It is shoulder length, natural curl (that i straighten when drying) and it is very thick (and more towards the coarser end of the spectrum, but not wirey/frizzy)

I have been using one with aragan oil for months (moisturising), but lately it doesn't was out well and my hair often feels dirty with product after I've washed/dried it

I wash it 2-3 times a week (i hate washing it.. I don't like getting wet

)

It's apparently a process, but I'm not down with ditching shampoo, and so I won't

I plop for up to an hour then diffuse or let air dry. I don't have fancy equipment: gym microfibre towel from Decathlon and a bog standard hairdryer with a diffusing attachment.

You have to stick with it. I don't think cgm works for all women but I do know that to see results it takes a bit of time, I mainly follow it apart from a couple of times last year I had my hair blow dried. You need to work out the porosity of your hair, if it likes protein or not... not all products work with every curl type. It's a minefield at first but it quickly becomes second nature. My hair is almost at my bra strap now and I think that is in part due to far less heat products and treating it with a lot more care. I don't mind my curls now and I actually *whispers* think I look good with curly hair.

Mine has always been like this a bit, but apparently washing your hair every other day is bad, so I'm wondering if there are ways to treat my scalp, you know? Like, maybe it's dermatitis?

Since the lockdowns and working from home I only put make up on and style my hair if I am going to the supermarket, so once a week. Otherwise I am make up free and hair in a ponytail or scruffy bun.

I have a day off work today and I did a long run earlier and have got myself ready to go for my weekly supermarket trip. In all honesty I feel lovely, clean, attractive and I am only wearing skinny jeans, black fitted top and converse trainers but I have done my hair and makeup.

I have maintained my skincare and personal grooming routines throughout.

I got some curl thingy recently... Wash /condition... Comb through... Apply plenty of product, then scrunch hair gently taking the weight, to create the curl... It is an art not to let it go fluffy

I'm trying to make the most of the fact I can't get it cut. Ha.

I don't know much about vegan products, but with coloured hair there'll be some overlap with curly friendly stuff, as you're avoiding similar ingredients. I think.

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

Lack of sleep, eating junk food and lack of sunlight. I got my first spot in ages last night which was expected considering what I just stated. I was going to dye my grey hairs.

But I wear a hat whenever I go outside and have a mask on so nothing really matters does it??

I blind bought several aftershaves which have been on my list to try once shops permit this, but I thought sod it and just pulled the trigger. I found them all to be underwhelming.

On the plus side, I am eating like a pig and haven't put on any weight but I probably have lost a lot of muscle in the past two months. I'll give it all some attention next month (maybe).

I started doing the curly girl method early on in first lockdown, first 2-3 weeks were awful (think head looked like a birds nest with chip fat at the roots and straw at the ends) but then as if by magic the curls started to appear and the condition improve. It's definitely worth persevering and I can't ever see me going back to spending ages blow drying and straightening my hair now, so much quicker to just spray in a bit of leave in conditioner (make your own with about a tablespoon of whatever conditioner you use in the shower diluted with about 300ml cooled boiled water and popped into a spray bottle) and scrunch the curls into place. X

Fortunately I’ve managed a hair cut just before each of the lockdowns so it’s still looks good. I’ve also continued with my colour every month or so.

Since I’m working from home I don’t need as much makeup but I do still make the effort since our HR dept gave us some tips how to cope being at home permanently. “ it’s still a work day... treat it as normal with casual smart rather than suits” it sets work place routine!

I’m still using my Garnier skin boost face masks once a week and I’m continuing my facial routine of cleanse, tone and moisturise.

I’m also still doing my nails!

I have 2b/c hair and did CG for a few years before I shaved it off. It took a couple of months to find products and a method that worked. I couldn't get away with not shampooing so I used Child's Farm kids shampoo that contained no nasties. Plopping didn't work for me either, so after using a tshirt to get excess moisture out and applying a bit of gel, I used a denman brush on small sections and scrunched more gel in. After that I either let it dry naturally or used one of those hand shaped diffusers on low heat and low blow strength. If you're wavey rather than curly I think the true CG method is difficult.

Getting products that didn't irritate my scalp took ages. In the end Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Scrunching Jelly was the one that worked best. The curls weren't quite as good as with others, but at least the itchy sticky feeling was banished.
