Manchester (she/her)

Based on an off Fab conversation.

Think positive. What do you have to be grateful for?

So much.

The love of friends mainly and that's something I cannot put into words

Derby

Lately quite a lot comparatively.

My health,

My job,

Friends and family,

Having a roof over my head and food to eat,

A future to look forward to,

There is almost always a bright side to things if you look carefully enough.

So much. My family, my friends, my amazing children, my job, my house, my health. My life basically. I don’t think I’ve ever taken things for granted really but after this past year I’ll make damn sure I don’t. There’s light at the end of the tunnel now I just want everyone to make it to that light xx

Well said! This is same for me. I've felt that things have been boring lately but it's much better than worrying when things are uncertain

Absolutely loads my lovely.

Furlough - I’d rather be at work but I’m not awake all night worrying about bills - although obviously I worry occasionally about having a job to go back to!

My 3 bloody fantastic kids who I get to spend loads of time with right now - and we’ve gotten really creative in finding fun things to do together (Saturday night is now family night - no disappearing to individual bedrooms).

Bittersweet I know - but as my mum is very ill I get to be her carer so can still see her very regularly.

Some bloody marvellous friends who send me jokes and banter regularly - we take care of each other’s headspace!

Chocolate - need I say more?

And last but by no means least - Ollie the destroyer - the world’s most gorgeous, huge and mental pup - who makes me get off my arse many times a day to walk him, feed him, play with him - and clean up his path of destruction!

Tons of stuff! Yeah, life is tough at the moment but I'm bloody grateful that I, and by extension my children, were born in the developed world so that when the pandemic hit we didn't have to worry about not having no food, shelter, clothes etc as well as Covid. Never have I been more grateful for that.

I'm grateful my family are safe

I'm grateful for key workers, not just but not least the NHS

I'm grateful for modern science and medicine

I'm grateful to those I love and have loved, including those I've lost

I'm grateful for friends, old and new.

I'm grateful for sciency friends who let me pick their brains

I'm grateful for the internet. Without, this would be a shit show

I'm grateful for those who educate us

I'm grateful for the people I support: their strength and humility is awe inspiring.

Are you sure Ollie doesn’t make you get up because he just likes the sight of your bottom?

.

I'm grateful for my incredible fiancé, not only do we love each other dearly but I'm proud of the work he does and the top trumps it gives me when it comes to my younger sister and her never ending one-upmanship quest. Eternally grateful for that, especially right now.

I'm also grateful for the education that's given me my voice, it helps a lot with work and getting what I want generally.

(Also some of the stuff mentioned above by other posters, and it's pretty cool having two partners so I'm grateful for that).
