"Mindfulness is a great tool for anxiety. It's helpful to keep a diary too, but 2 of them - one for venting/ getting out your emotions and the second one keep it positive. Write down something that has made you happy or you are grateful for each day. Exercise is a big thing for me, really helps to relax and clear the mind. Even going for a walk each day can make a big difference. Hope that helps and hope your okay " Absolutely! As a gardener working with nature is particularly cathartic for me. I've always encouraged my customers to be more involved in their garden, pointing out the numerous benefits to health and well being. Mindfulness while ing and the more mundane gardening tasks has helped me be more focused and I believe better equipped to deal with anxiety. "It may sound a bit weird or totally off subject but I recently had this which was not related to any life changes or anything related to my life at that time. Luckily I found out that it was Vitamin D deficiency I ended up getting treatment to balance it out and since then I keep taking as a daily life supplement. I cannot even explain how much of a change it made! No more meaningless stress/anxiety and depression or low moods " That's a great shout! I totally forgot that I was deficient in vit d and whatever that one is you take when you're preggo. It'll come to me when I'm having a dump most likely. | |||
