I'm awful at selfies and taking face pics, mostly because they require a good side which I tend to lack!

What do women prefer/look for in a face pic? A big, flashing smile or a sexy, brooding smoulder?

Any tips for a passable selfie would be greatly appreciated

How you smile (or don't) I don't think matters. The only thing that annoys me is when someone sends one wearing sunglasses or holding something in front of their face

Smile, black and white tends to look good, if unsure pose in the mirror and use front face camera so you can see it as you take it

I always have my lips closed when I smile I’ve noticed. If it’s a selfie I just take it quickly as I think the longer you think about it the harder it is to appear natural

A smile is good if it’s natural, but lots of us struggle to smile in selfie’s I think, so a natural and relaxed look is good, without sunglasses, tongue out, or fingers stuck up.

I don't really like showing my teeth and want to try and avoid filters where I can to make it look natural. I've upload a couple to my public gallery for a limited time if anyone is kind enough to give feedback?

On a mooch

Prop your camera up and take a video with different poses / angles, then screenshot your favourite one to create the photo. So much easier than trying to find the right angle with an outstretched arm and just have fun with it

Awww I'm sure they're not but I definitely felt the same but some people want to see face pics so thought I might as well have one in the chamber so to speak

Set the timer for 5 seconds. In those 5 seconds, pull a funny face then let it settle into a natural state.

You don't have to show your teeth, I don't. Smiling from the eyes is good. I've got several selfies in my public gallery and I don't think any show my teeth, but I do smile on most of them.
