Exporting to EU: VAT?!

Thought this was worth a punt. Anyone here got their heads round the implications of selling goods direct to EU customers in terms of VAT and any other taxes?

Figured Fab is such a broad church someone might be able to help explain!

It should roughly be the same, However thats not the problem many companies are refusing to take them on.

Its all down to the paperwork thats needed for export or import.

Sounds mad dosnt it, The issue lies where a wagon load carrying 500 parcels needs 500+ paperwork to go with it.
