Just wondering who started the New Year determined to lose the lockdown lard?

Lots of us put a few extra lbs on last year.

What's everyone doing to lose them in readiness for the time shenanigans can resume?

I have a TRX rig that I use at home, plus I run when it’s not this bloody icy.

Must admit my diet kinda sucks right now, but I don’t eat much so it’s not too bad.

I’ve been doing Intermittent fasting, first I have breakfast, then a few hours later I have brunch, then lunch a bit later, then a few hours after that I have tea. Usually I break the gaps up with snacks, etc, but the gaps where I’m not eating I’m intermittent fasting, ah you get the idea with that.

Ha! If this was IF I'd be doing this constantly. To answer the OP, I am intermittent fasting and trying to go out for jogs - even though it was cold today and I had to double sports bra, I managed it. Next week I'm cutting the carbs. I'm doing it so I feel better about myself and I can treat myself to nice things (lingerie).

I'm almost back to my December last year size/shape so feeling hopeful I can persevere and continue in the direction I would be heading if this shit stressful year didn't happen. Perseverance is the biggest challenge for me. I'm not very routine oriented.

Best of luck everyone. If only losing was as easy as putting on!

Aww Jamie! This is true. I want to feel confident in them and I am 100% not buying the Honey Birdette set that features in my fantasy until I feel good in it. I like how I look for the most part, I just know I feel like a succubus in heat when I shift a few pounds.

I haven’t been to the gym since March ... I miss the gym. I was good though summer exercising outside but I have let it slip this winter.

I am carefully watching what I eat, otherwise it goes all over my beard and that is just messy.

I am being sensible with what I eat; two hands and one mouth, if you are not sensible then you get a bottle neck at your feeding hole.

If I can maintain my current cuddliness until I get back to the gym then I can get away with being Dad Bod sexy

La la land

Lockdown and illness has definitely added a fair bit of weight.

Dancing is my favourite thing and there is no classes, which is hard as it's about getting together with my mates so helps my mental health too. And when I'm happier I tend to look after myself better.

But I've been out for a couple of walks this week.

So starting small and x fingers by the time the weather gets better I'll be fit enough to walk the hills by the house.
