Most embarrassing music...

Jump to newest

So I've just pulled out my CD collection and cringed at some of the albums I've seen. Some of them were because of kids but even so.

So what music or albums did you own and really like that others would laugh at you for or you'd be embarrassed about.

I'm not sure I can even admit to mine someone make me feel better please.

Would have to be the wonderful! Howard Jones.

I loved it as teen and now I have to hang my head in Shame. If only I could break these manic chains and free myself of this...

I'm not sure I can embrace the Paris Hilton album I've found. I'm convinced it's not mine as I don't recognise the songs. But it's in mint condition so has clearly never been played. I think music magpie might be the only way to go on that one.

Braced for the onslaught I'm going get for this.

There and to the left a bit

Well if you look through my Amazon Music collection it includes Elaine Paige, Bradley Walsh and One Direction amongst others....

...fortunately I can blame that on the Auto Rip function they offer with some CD purchases and Xmas/Birthday presents for others down the years

In defence of Westlife, they are one of the most versatile boy bands of their era. They really can ruin anybody's songs.

"birdie song"

I met the guy who wrote the Birdie Song when I was a kid. He was (I doubt he's still around) an Austrian accordion player called Werner Thomas. I used to have one of his albums.

My first single was bloody Jimmy Osmond and I still have it.

I moved on to greater things after that, or so I thought, Gary Glitter!! I have nearly all his singles and a couple of albums. Also saw him live on about 6 occasions.

I hang my head in shame

I’m not embarrassed by any of them but I’m very partial to my deacon blue album lately.

Also own such uncool albums as...

The circus~ take that.

Jagged pill ~ Alanis Morissette.

Fairground ~ simply red.

Diva ~ Annie Lennox

I could go on, and on.
