I saw fab recommended on Mumsnet

I had no expectations regarding how long I'd be on here. It's probably only been around 18 months to 2 years, but spread over 5 and a half, if you see what I mean.

So I read profiles, bios specially very carefully, I take everything in consideration. Sometimes the use of language could mislead. But I'd say most of the time people do not write bios to show who they really are, naked or raw. But they write to impress, to catch attention and perhaps to hide their vulnerabilities, which is ok but regretful . A little Example: I like "casual/spontabeous" but "I look for "intimacy and connection"; sometimes the bio matched the photos and that's ultimatelly what makes a profile interesting. The consistency and being able to identify or have a clear idea of the subject

Actually not that far away, just over an hours drive away.

It’s a nice little place to escape for a few days when the weathers nice and take a stroll on the river: A few nice pubs there and the people are very friendly too.

It was the first place I went to after the first lockdown so would probably choose here.

I expected that I'd end up perving a lot and not actually meeting anyone. I also expected that if anyone wanted to meet me they wouldn't be "my type" and if I actually wanted any sex I'd have to alter my idea of attraction. If that makes sense?

My expectations turned out to be wrong. I certainly didn't expect that I'd meet people I was actually attracted to and find they were attracted to me. Also didn't expect to be inundated by cock pics and completely unrealistic messages (you're the most beautiful woman in the world..... but I have no photos). That was a hell of a surprise and not a good one, because it made me feel like utter crap.

It was a big and great surprise to find that people actually do like my pictures, and also that I've made some of the best friends ever. I wasn't expecting that at all but I'm hoping that some of these friends will be lifelong now

I would be buried in a little summer house by the lake.. a lake is a wild one.. no lifeguards.. no formal beach.. and surrounded by forest..I haven't done kayaking for years so that would need to be included.. embracing nature, picking blueberries and wild mushrooms, cherishing silence and distance from people
