It's not so much about the place as the method to be honest - here is as good a place as any to find someone but like any other relationship it comes down to mutual attraction and finding someone who is as interested in you as you are them.

Achieving that on-line comes down to presenting the best possible version of you for others to see (in your profile, pics, interactions, attitude, approach etc) and then letting the magic unknown ingredient do the rest.

Thanks for the advice - I’ve emailed and emailed on here, but just got nowhere. I’ve been polite, respectful. In all the time I’ve been on here - I’ve never had so much as a brief correspondence.

Remove the cock photo, the other photos are nice and removed the alpha male sweeping statement, show it naturally

And that is where my second paragraph comes in - you have the tools at your disposal to give yourself the best possible chance of finding what you are looking for (without any guarantees of course) but it's down to you how you use them.

Think of it another way - as you walk down the street you're probably attracted to no more than 10% of the women you see - of that 10% chances are around 10% of them will be equally attracted to you, so that's about one in every hundred - same principal applies here.

Ultimately there is no definable magic formula - you just have to find the one that works for you.
