How do you rate your sense of humour?

Quirky, dry, are you always trying to make people laugh, or make a bad situation a little light hearted to ease the tension? Or are you quieter and would rather sit back and let others make you laugh.

We try to always make people smile, sometimes fail with some folk, but more often than not we raise a smile and laughter.

Not sure really.

I don’t particularly enjoy jokes, pranks, or standard humour. Monty Python and all that I just don’t find funny at all. For me it’s the delivery. Someone could tell me a story about how their car broke down and the way they told it would make me laugh.

I like observational humour delivered in a dry manner with maybe a tint of sarcasm.

There and to the left a bit

It varies - sometimes it can be quite dark, sometimes quite silly, others quite perverse - I learned early that if you can't laugh at life (and yourself) then the alternative is much darker and depressing.

Whatever it is, it's good to laugh, is very uplifting and good for the soul.

I am not good at telling jokes.

It doesn't come naturally to me.

I stumble over or forget the punchlines.

I think some people are just naturally talented in that direction and can make people laugh & smile easily.

I do have a sense of humor, I can't define it though, it depends on my mood.

Can be anything from puns & word play, to dry sarcasm or childish and silly.

I value a strong sense of humor in others. I enjoy people making me laugh.

I agree Meli, you have no say over what things you find funny, the same as who you find attractive, or what music you like, well observed comedy, for example I can nod and think that was clever, but then someone can say the dumbest shit and I could be in tears laughing, I think if someone can combine the two then they’re onto a winner. Also I’ve been listening to ‘Evermore’ the Taylor Swift album on repeat, somehow it’s better than ‘Folklore’

I have a great sense of humour that had been described as very dry and performed with a dead-pan expression, so people don't know if they should laugh or I am serious. I take my jokes very serious, so people should have a laugh

I guess ours is classed as "dark". We don't get offended and generally the more offensive a joke may be, the funnier it is to us.

Bet you can have fun stringing folk along that you're serious.

Best way to be. So many people take offense at the slightest thing these days. It's sad.

"We have quite a dark sense of humour. We're not easily offended and quite often think, Jesus if some people heard us lol

Totally get you. We think if people overheard our conversations we would be locked up "

We’re in your camp! We see humour in most situations and if we said some things we say in private out in public we’d probably offend a lot of people.

I think humour is very subjective: I like to think I'm quick witted, and usually inappropriate.

I can be somewhat surreal, and it's often difficult to get humour across in messages.

Id like to say I'm better in the flesh, but I'd only disappoint you

Quite dark and we do laugh at stuff we are told we shouldn't and we'd never ever ever be able to a show like goggle box and then when all else fails mrs4 likes using using sarcasm..her classic to a young over eager male ..Unlike most cars where certain things are optional extra's ..brains aren't

We agree that humour can be very difficult to get across in messages. People can take it all out of perspective.

And hey, don't be putting yourself down.

Mine varies quite a lot i think but generally it's either sarcastic, flirtatious or a bit left field.

I like to make others laugh if I can and moreso on the forums as things can get quite serious so a bit of light hearted humour can be helpful.

It also depends on the other person and the situation too, I would like to think my sense of humour adaptable but then with some where I know I can get away with it, its also downright inappropriate

A very dry sharp often sarcastic humour which is sometimes misunderstood.

Some wrongly believe I'm taking the piss but it just comes naturally to me.

When it completely goes over someone's head I don't take offence, it works both ways humour. You either get it or you don't it's a funny thing.

"Dark, self deprecating and dry. And by dry I mean I often weld women’s knickers on rather than melting them off

Well you made me laugh right there. Thank you "

You are very welcome. I’m here for the next 200 odd days of my supporters membership, at least

I am very funny. I would rate myself 10 out of 10 for my sense of humour. If you don't think I am funny then I think you are dead inside. Peace and parsnips.
