What puts you off of responding to messages and chatting with somebody online?

Lets see if we can thrash out a few ideas for these folks struggling to get beyond the "Thanks but no thanks" stage, remember im talking about messages and chatting here NOT meeting and fucking so bad breath and dirty fingernails are not going to come into it just yet.
