My January is going ok. Back on my health kick, started my ‘lands end to John O’groats’ challenge/race with friends so it’s good motivation. Transfer with work just this minute been authorised so I’m happy

Oh no!! That's a lot of things. The extra inches is useful in the winter, mind : ) grey hairs are gorgeous!

Absolutely sucks about the stealing. Such a horrible thing to happen :/

Mine is being spent recovering from tonsilitis. Bleugh!

I am still working from home and this looks like it will continue for a long time yet. Work is very busy and juggling home schooling a teenager is testing.

On a fitness side, I have committed to complete a challenge throughout January to run/walk 286 miles. Today I am having a much deserved rest day from activities and I am looking forward to completing the challenge by the end of the month.... fingers crossed

Her x

Trying to stay positive and motivated. Uni is mostly online. I'm trying to get into the routine of working out at home with gyms being closed. Starting to go on morning runs.

Don't want to fall back into the habit of sleeping late and waking up really late

Bloody awful, his birthday was tuesday (2 days ago), a relative in our bubble walked in the house without knocking, threw her arms round him and gave him a big sloppy kiss, and left presents, this morning, they phoned to say they have just tested positive, he is already high risk.

It's an utterly sickening feeling . My empathy is with you . If possible try to place your effort onto soothing your mind and not descending into corrosive thoughts of revenge

My January is going really well thank you OP, sorry to hear that yours isn't.

So far, I've been for some great cycle rides and runs, completed a few jobs around the house, repaired my car ready for it's MOT, baked bread, BBQ'd and bought myself a new Mini Plunge Saw as a belated Christmas present... Oh, and I'm still on holiday

Oh that's awful! Had house broken into when I lived with my ex while we were sleeping and they took keys to car. Got the car back, but not until it had been taken for a joy ride, stored in a warehouse and leather seats scratches graffiti into. It's a horrible feeling.

At least they just took and went, and that was all it was. Insurance and police will have the rest covered. We ended up getting an alarm system fitted.

Now I've just got dogs, they're pretty handy!

As for the inches and hair... insulation and sophistication

My January is going ok today.

Yesterday it was a bit crap.

Tomorrow it might be a snow day.

If it snows then I’m going sledding instead of work so there’s that.

Fair to shite

Work for Mrs is at the most stressful time of year

Hectic time of year for our family business

Home schooling

Gyms closed so have nowhere to go and get 'me' time and see friendly faces

And to top if off f*cking snow that just makes our job 10 times harder.

I'm not sure in all honesty. Work is going really well and I'm proud of something I achieved today in that capacity. Highs and lows I guess. I miss hugs from loved ones a lot right now though and that's daft isn't it? Meh. I'll get through it, I always do. I'm sorry about your car OP, that's really awful. x

If this question is about extending my membership of 2021 after my 7 day free trial, I'm cancelling and stopping my direct debt.
