A friend of mine has randomly sent me this book by Nancy Friday. I haven't read it yet, but was wondering if any of you ladies and gents have? If so, is it any good? Did it allow you to see things from a different perspective or a game changer maybe?

Serious and silly responses always welcome

I think she’s written a couple of them. One was about women’s fantasies and was quite eye opening

Yep, read this, many years ago, and had a copy at the time, it’s quite an old publication, as I remember it’s a book of stories and fantasies covering all types of sex. Quite entertaining although some topics are a bit taboo.

Many years ago I bought myself a Kindle. Back home for xmas, my Dad asked to have a go. I thought the last thing I'd been reading (and thus the page that would open when he locked it) was a Terry Pratchett novel.

It wasn't.

It was My Secret Garden.

On the topic of golden showers.

I saw that it was published years ago, but my assumption before starting this book is that topics will still be relevant as ever.

Yep, from what I remember, it’d still be a good read.

Maybe not, although I thought the sections about sex with your Mum, and sex with your Pet were a bit ‘out there’ shall we say

Before you could get the Internet on your phone, this book was my 'ladywank' inspiration.

Read many times over

North Bucks

My first sexual partner and I had this book we used to act out some of the passages we had read.

We thought we were at the very cusp of kinkiness.

How little did I know.

I explained- and there was some truth to this- that I was researching in order to write erotic ficion aimed at ladies. I either got away with it, or he was content just to close the door on that conversation.
