"I'm struggling today. I'm trying to be silly as a distraction but I can't get into it. I'm feeling too sensible for once " Its hard to stave off the crap sometimes. Is it best to let the feeling happen when you get like this?

"Going down the same old road we went down last March and November smart-arsesary aside..... I’d like people to contribute tips and ideas and advice for surviving lockdown if you live alone. Likely its been done before but it’d be nice to hear it again imho. The next 7/8 weeks are going to be difficult anyway, so any support and guidance would be good? " Getting out some where - taking some deep breaths of fresh air and preferably some exercise, really helps, I find.

"I'm not alone, I'm lucky so tell me to butt out of you want. Structure to your day, regular meals of good food, get outside when you can, stay connected, don't be afraid to ask for help, have a goal. Log off fab if it's getting you down. Switch off the news. Chatting on here might help " This is great advice. Use the time to invest in hobbies or things that have always been of interest but we struggle to find the time for. Whether that’s blogging, photography, language, music, singing, sign language (one of my lock down goals!!!!), fitness or cooking! Do awesome stuff and share it with everyone on here

Is it best to let the feeling happen when you get like this? " I've been socially isolated for 4yrs now, so lockdown hasn't affected me too badly as I'm used to it. I use humour and silliness as a counter balance for my coping mechanism. I'll be ok, just need to give my head a wobble and seek out stupid threads

"Is there something you've wanted to do but not had the time? Learn an instrument, a language, write a book etc? " Everyone has a book inside them I hear.
