Couples/singles not sending face pics

We are fairly new to the forums but why is it that when you start chatting to a couple/singles they are reluctant to send a face pic?

They will happily send you a friends request and say they want to get to know you but what's the point in getting to know someone if it is not going to go any further.

They may prefer to chat for a while before sending a face pic.

If you prefer one early on then you're just not compatible.

I won't send face pics anymore until I have chatted for a while it suits some and not others.

We didn't have our face pics showing at first, but we always sent them with a message, it just got easier to display them on our profile.

We totally understand some people want there privacy and a little trust.

We just think it's only fair if they have seen what we look like, shouldn't that be reciprocated?

Because most want to hold on to their privacy whilst wanting you to compromise yours

Many will also only compromise theirs if they fancy you

This phenomenon is not peculiar to Fab, it's endemic throughout sites like this

Couples, it's normally a single bloke hiding behind a couples account. Therefore has no female face to show. Single woman, I'd say it's a safty thing.

Its difficult sometimes, I hold back on face pics until I think I may like you as I wouldnt meet if I didnt. I can just accept the dissapointment if a face picture then isnt liked. Its rare I will just vanish though even if we dont fancy each other from that one poorly lit 2 dimensonal snapshot in time, I'll let them quietly slip away and if they dont then we probably can still cope with our terrible faces and actually get on

If chat goes well and things progress to a potential meet, then I like to exchange face pics. Otherwise there's really no point.

Yea this... We have lifes outside of fab, family, jobs etc and get friend requests daily but we like to get to know the person(s) first and then yes no problem sharing our pictures
