As I saw a guy asking about drum and bass, I thought I'd ask all of you on here what your favourite genre of music is and what are your top songs from that genre you dig and jam to ...

Anything with good quality guitar on it (spot the guitarist) currently leaning towards modern fusion or country.

I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as its catchy

DnB

Lol

I just can't get enough of it.

It encompasses everything I love about music.

Ranging from melodic liquid DnB to electro DnB to hardstyle to cyberpunk.

Really don't have a favourite to be honest. Especially with so many sub genres and all hat shit.

If I had narrow it down mostly it would be rock, but that is extremely limiting. I could genuinely listen to any genre type if I enjoy the lyrics, tune, etc of a specific track. Couldn't care any less if it is rap, country, rock, classical, pop etc.

I'm a good team mate on a pop quiz.

It varies, depending on mood. Ambient like moby hotel disc 2, dub like king tubby, reggae like Peter tosh, 80s, 90's trance - above & beyond especially, rock - especially pink floyd dark side of the moon, dubfx, drum and bass, dubstep... too many to pick one!

I (Jason) spent most of my life as a DJ running everything from hardstyle, trance, and euro club to party cheese and metal,/rock nights. So I have a wide selection of musical tastes. Only thing I can't stand is patsy Cline. Lol.

"A bit of everything "

The Jukebox has one free selection available.

What song do you choose?

60's - Motown/Beatles

70's - Motown/Soul/Rock

80's - Cheesy pop/Soft Rock

90's - Dance/Indie/Pop

Noughties onwards just a smattering of Indie/Rock/Dance

If I had to choose a decade I'd be hard pushed between 80's/90's.

Foo Fighters live are on a complete other level to anything else I've seen.

Glasgow

Good songs from the golden age of recorded popular music, circa 1945 to 1975. I'd push it to 1980 but no further.

My favourite genre would be Prog Rock, specifically Yes & Rush but love a pretty eclectic mix from NWA to Perry Como.
