I watched it back to back pre Christmas...... well over a couple of consecutive days.

It was a coming of age story as far as im concerned. She learned a lot through her life experiences.

It was fuck all to do with chess in reality.

It was good but I thought the over sexualisation of her character was unnecessary particularly when she was younger flirting with much older men.

Was quite uncomfortable watching at times.

But overall it was a good program having a strong intelligent woman going up against the system and prejudiced in an era of male chauvinism was good and interesting,but maybe I am missing the point, perhaps it's possible to do this and still be glamorous and sexy at same time.

But it was the scenes where it didn't really specify her age made me cringe a few times when the guy's where letching over her.

I thought it was a very accurate portrayal of someone who had been through early life trauma. Plus entertaining TV, I was sorry when it ended.

Yeah we binge-watched it a few weeks ago. It was really good. Great cast, great performances, great story. Who knew something about chess would be so entertaining?

Another great show we enjoyed was Good Girls starring Christina Hendricks. Kind of like Breaking Bad but with three suburban housewives. Very good, much recommended.

I really enjoyed it and felt a bit 'oh no what am I going to watch now' as I started the last episode. The main charater is quirky, different, smart and pretty. It did make me dig out the chessboard and have a few games with my kids so its also had a positive effect on my life - got me off netflix and fab for a while!

I finished watching it last night and loved it.

Definitely agree with the coming of age comment. I thought bringing Jolene back into it when they were grown women was fantastic, their scenes brought a tear to my eye.

It was alright - I don't think it was as AMAZING as people are making out though.

I enjoyed her quirky character and life story but quite honestly the chess theme was a yawn fest

I’m currently hooked, binging the whole thing.

I’ve seen Anya Taylor-Joy in so many different roles and never found her all that attractive.

It’s becoming ever more evident to me that my desire is much more for a persons character and interests than appearance alone because right now I’d give away three of my kidneys for one chance to sit opposite her and show her my moves.
