This one is just for me to moan and rant about being in pain.

PCOS, endometriosis, Hydredentis suprativa...all flaring and have landed me in agony

In cramping, my back hurts, my neck hurts from tension, my insides feel like they're being dragged out of me and I can't move my left arm without pain now thanks to a persisant blister under it.

Tired of the pain and the scars left behind and feeling utterly drained and saddened by it atm.

Being a woman fucking sucks sometimes!

Feel free to pop your rant below...get it out!

Sympathy and cake pls?

Lu

Edinburgh (She/Her)

Dearest Lu.

My darling wife, Lady V, suffers from endo and pcos also.

Many operations and has tried everything to dull the pains.

Daily pain which she manages. She is superhuman.

I feel completely helpless when she gets a flare up. It is a crippling condition.

Thankfully it is now been researched fully by doctors across the world. One can only hope they will find a solution.

Don't give up with endo. Let your doc know it's no joke. It's taken over 15 years, but my sister finally had surgery for her endo. The difficulty is there's literally a handful of surgeons who can do the operation.

It took her being on antisickness meds with her painkillers, and dropping to 7 stone, for them to take her seriously.

It needs to change...

New doctors (GPs) receive 4 days training on diabetes, endometriosis effects more people and yet the training they receive is less than half a day.

The first port of call generally know nothing. That's why so many women are in agony, infertile, depressed, have stomas...

Makes me so mad

The sacrum, my left iliac crest and my right inner thigh (femoral nerve) are the worst affected places but sometimes it's just generalised discomfort everywhere that radiates down my legs.

Doeant sound like much fun at all! You have my sympathies!

My pain seems to radiate upwards from my pelvis most often...hips get ouchy but mostly abdominal and lower back pain.

I desperately need some stronger pain relief but docs are reluctant to provide it

It's a horrible thing endo, and I had no idea it even existed til a friend was diagnosed a few years back. Now I'm aware of so many women who suffer with it.

It seems to affect us all differently depending on where it has spread to.

Yep I'm in the same boat with pain relief. I just get told to take ibuprofen but that doesn’t touch nerve pain. And they won't do anything more invasive as I'm young and childless even though I don't want children. I was lucky though that I got diagnosed young as I saw a GP who was an ex gynaecologist and spotted the signs while other GPs had just palmed me off with the contraceptive pill.

"

I'm still fighting for a diagnostic laparoscopy! I'm waiting for a referral over 6 months now just for pain relief!

It's impossible atm it would seem "

See if you can get a referral to david rowlands at arrowe park on the wirral, to say he is good is a bit of an understatement. If your gp wont refer you just ring and speak to his secretary and see if they can sort anything for you.

The wife has suffered with it for most of her life, shes 44 and just had hysterectomy a couple of months ago.

Over the years she has been in absolute agony with it, don't think I've read of anyone who's been as bad as she has been but her consultant is shit hot to say the least.

She said to have a look on Nancy's nook as it's got some very good reading on it and also try celecoxib as it's better than I ibuprofen.

Feel free to drop us a message if we can be of any help, the wife has got a vast knowledge on endo.

"This one is just for me to moan and rant about being in pain.

Lu "

So sorry lovely, I have a similar issue so I feel your pain. I’m awaiting a hysterectomy for mine now.

Sending chocolate, cake, alcohol and hugs

I really feel for you and send virtual hugs.

I know about Hydredentis suprativa only too well; unfortunately.

There was a thread on here about it a while back, which made me realise that it was more common than I thought. I had a flare up throughout lockdown, did some research which stated use Manuka honey! So I did.

Have to say that it has worked wonders for me; first thing that has in over 20 years of suffering. The dam thing just keeps finding new sites on my body.

I'm not touting this as a cure but I went to a private dermatologist and was advised to apply a drawing cream/paste (magnesium sulphate), on the cyst and keep applying it even when the wound has opened, to get the crap out. I went further and mixed in the Manuka honey and I am cyst free and free of the pain of the cysts for the first time in years.

To be honest, I was that fed up, I would have tried anything.
