Why women dislike men watching porn.

As title suggests?

Comments please.

In this modern age ,its no secret that the two sexes obtain sexual stimulus in different ways. Prior to being in a relationship majority of men watched porn.

Why do women still cannot accept that men are mature enough to keep " fantasy" and porn separate from realities of enjoying sex with partner.

As its mainly visual stimulation .Yet ladies would have little issue should guy watch a racy scene in a main stream movie or reading a racy naughty novel. As which a lot of women do anyway?

This in mind , if such hang ups on male partner watching porn ........how on earth can couples contemplate swinging ? As isn't,t that seeking a fantasy or comparing too.?

When you say 'women' do you mean a woman you know or are you addressing half of all the humans on the planet?

This sounds like personal experience rather than based on evidence. What are you basing this on?

I have no issue with my Hubby watching porn, and quite often things that we wouldn’t normally do.

Some men cannot keep porn fantasy and reality seperate from each other though and the constant request to try his porn fantasy becomes tiresome...

Based on a lot of what gets posted in the forums,I can't accept that some men can separate porn from the reality of having sex with an actual woman

I had no problem with men watching porn, but I do think that quite a few aren't mature enough to keep fantasy and porn separate from reality, you only have to look at the forum obsession with squirting for evidence of that.

Watching porn used to be taboo. I don't think it's that taboo any more. We both watch porn and neither of us has any problem with the other doing it.

I think it's a bit of an over-generalisation to suggest that all or most women have the attitude you describe.

Jo has absolutely no problem with me watching porn! as for the living out the fantasy side, I only watch self pleasure, and Jo always wants a wank so it’s all good

As we all know women speak as a collective unit and if one doesn’t like it, then all the others must feel the same. This is just one of the basics of SweepingGeneralisationsRUs.

I,m not to proud not to admit " from personal exp" .... some years back got dumped . For" being honest" when starting dating a lady . I did not want to dwell on subject but the questions kept coming ,she made out she liked what she was hearing. Only to be dumped very next day ?? Few weeks later on conversation with one of her friends who asked what happened. She said that's bizarre cos she was aware that that same lady who dumped us also admitted to watching porn ?? Huuugghhh?

It's a very generalised comment OP we're not all the same. I love watching porn with my partner. I'm sure there are women and men who don't like it. Each to their own and hope to find some likeminded individuals. X

Nobody knows her actual reason for dumping you but safe to say, all women are not the same. All men are not the same.

As an example, I once had a social with a really nice bloke with the most awful teeth. Did I tell him the reason I didn't want to meet him is that his disgusting oral hygiene was making me retch at the thought of his mouth anywhere near any body part of mine?

You bet I didn't.

There and to the left a bit

Not *all* men can separate porn from reality just as not *all* women don't like men watching porn.

Some women actually enjoy the thought of the men they are with doing so, some enjoy watching it with the men they are with.

Everyone is different and has different likes/dislikes - the key is finding those whose likes/dislikes align with your own.

The reasons are as varied as people. I have friends who dislike most porn as they believe it perpetuates violence and objectification of women. I had another friend who seemed to be upset by the idea of her partner being aroused by anything other than her and even insisted he didn't masturbate. There's also plenty of women who have no issue with porn like myself. I watch porn myself. I know one of my male partners does. The other doesn't and prefers looking at pictures women post themselves on another site. I think the only issues I have with porn are some of the unhealthy ideas people can get from it such as that you need a massive willy to satisfy a woman. I certainly have had to have a few conversations with men about how porn is designed to look visually stimulating and that people don't necessarily enjoy being fucked in the ways you see in it.

It depends what type of porn the man is watching. I've no issues with most of it but there are some things a guy could watch that would disturb me and make me not want anything to do with him sexually.

What I dont love is people thinking skull fucking, face slapping, finger blasting your bladder, and dry anal with massive cocks are the norm...they are not.

I imagine a lot of ladies on fab don’t just accept the fact that men watch porn - they’d happily watch it with them (if they were into the same genre) and watch it themselves. Personally I can’t wank (with my wand) without porn for visual stimulation.

I think perhaps ‘some’ ladies in the vanilla world see their guys watching porn as distasteful - but I imagine it’s generally accepted by ladies on fab.

I used to hate my ex watching porn. But I'm totally cool with my hubby watching it. I've even purchased porn for him. He doesn't really seem that into it to be fair though.

With me it was insecurity. My ex didnt care for me like he should have and i didn't trust him.

My hubby adores me and makes sure i know it.

Sounds like my ex wife! Happy to attend clubs together, but would not tolerate me watching porn or masturbating at all and never watched it herself.

As long as one remembers that most porn is fantasy and there is a distinct line between it and reality then I can imagine it would be great fun to watch it together as a couple.

I would never expect a partner to be happy with me wishing to carry out some of the stuff that happens in porn to her though.

When I was working as a relationship therapist.. a man watching porn or playing with himself was often a reason couples were in therapy. As the partners saw it as being unfaithful..

I have no issue with guys watching porn. I watch it myself sometimes.

I don't see any reason for it to be an issue as long as it isn't the extreme porn. Then yes I would have an issue with it and it would make me wonder about the person watching it.

Good topic though.

The type of people who get upset or jealous about watching porn would not be the type to be swinging.

Although of course jealousy and cheating does occur in both swinging and non swinging relationships.

I have no issue with a fella watching porn. I once woke up to find an ex tugging away to some porn on mute, and I watched him for quite a while. Was so hot

But if someone preferred watching porn than to shag me, that’s when my toys would be flung out the pram.

As has been said already, plenty of men can’t separate porn from reality, and that can be a serious problem.

I don’t have an issue with men watching porn, even if I find mainstream professional porn painfully boring myself, but they can fuck right off if they think they can reenact that rubbish on my poor body.

Mrs here and I far from hate it, we watch it together and it’s hot we get really turned on and have great sex. We both watch it alone too, I just get frustrated if Mr is watching it when I’m horny and I don’t know he is although when I find out off I pop upstairs and have a watch and a play myself

I have no issue with M watching porn, either alone or when we are together, and I often watch it myself. I agree that it is important that the person understands the difference between porn & real life though and also that porn doesn't become a replacement for physical intimacy in the relationship.

I get very turned on when my boyfriend watches porn and wanks next to me in bed.

I also absolutely love it when I am orally pleasuring him and he watches porn without interacting with me, and without showing me what he's watching... so I can only listen to the porn and feel his erection responses in my mouth and hand.... so so sexy for me to experience.

I also love it when we watch porn together during sex or sometimes we will be laying next to each other both wanking and watching different porn on our phones.

I use porn on my own as I self pleasure, so I could never see me as the kind of woman who would get upset when my boyfriend watches it on his own. If I am not there then I ask him what he watched to cum.... it turns me on to know what he enjoys.

I actively encourage Mr to watch porn. It's never been an issue between us. I find it a huge turn on to watch porn together too.

I do have a friend (non-fab) who won't allow her husband to watch it and even changed the password on the laptop to try to stop him watching porn. That to me is wrong.

Yes, I'm similar. I like hearing what someone has wanked to, it's incredibly sexy and intimate for them to share that with you. I've never tried giving oral without being interacted with and while they watch porn - I'm adding that to my list now though, sounds like it could a very enjoyable minute for us both.
