Do people find that after a while nothing seems to

happen , I know that nobody is meeting at the moment but there’s no messaging or chat , is it best to give it a rest for a while.

Play in the forums.

It increases your profile traffic which in turn can lead to messages

If you are not enjoying being on fab then I’d suggest taking a short break but if it fills a part of your life that is currently missing then crack on.

Stay safe op and best of luck.

I am all for taking breaks from fab, I think that's a healthy way to use it! I know it is for me, anyway. I often go away for a month or two, then come back if I feel like it

It’s not that I don’t enjoy it but when there’s no response what’s the point

It’s a strange time anyway right now, I’d usually suggest you try a group social. That’s out the question for now with the pandemic.

Why don’t you just stay for the forums, it tends to get men noticed. Especially if they come across well.

I would probably add the fact that couples and females get an awful lot of messages (so yours needs to stand out) the poor quality of messages and number of fakes had increased dramatically on the site.

Add to this the Covid restrictions which means the majority are not meeting and may not want to reply.

The last point I would add is you have no idea what is happening in their life. Their life might be busy, it may be sad, they could be worried about something or plain and simple you are not their type (at that moment).

So if you factor in all of the above it’s a wonder anyone replies.

I’ve only just ventured onto the forums - before that I did feel similarly disheartened.

However being more activate on the forums and getting more profile traffic and messages as a response seems to fill the empty void that we are all missing lately
